Corrections/transfers/linking will only be made through the edit tab on the memorial.|
You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not a reason for a management transfer request.
I try to verify the accuracy of requested corrections and links before making them. Sometimes I may ask for your information source.
If I have questions/concerns about your correction and have no way to contact you, the correction will not be made. 311703/043147050101
Social Security Death zip codes are not the place of death. They are usually the zip code of last residence. A zip code for a town may cover rural areas around a town and areas of other counties.
The town of Norcatur, KS is 100% in Decatur County. Norcatur Cemetery is 100% in Norton County. The Norcatur zip code 67653 includes several townships in Decatur County and part of Center-District 1 Township in Norton County.

I wish there was a way to send this to you privately. You are intruding on very private family matters and I don't think you are related to us in any way. Betty Lainhart's parental rights were terminated by the Circuit Court for the County of Nodaway. Lucille Nelson adopted Jon and was his legal mother - per order of the Circuit Court of Nodaway County No. A-192 dated April 9, 1963.
Please make the changes that were requested and stop going into matters that are none of your concern.

You're very welcome!
I'm so sorry. I had no idea that copying a photo of my uncle's gravestone would be considered plagiarism - but I suppose ignorance is not an excuse. I removed the photo as you requested. It really wasn't appropriate for my aunt's memorial anyway since it is woefully outdated. Please accept my apologies.

|Michael Burley||RE: Sam Eicher #40842844|
I've been able to find considerable documentation regarding the parentage and burial of Samuel Eicher (1870-1905).
1) The 1880 Federal Census and Iowa State Census (1885) show Samuel as part of the household of John C. and Catherine (Rich) Eicher in Tippecanoe Twp., Henry Co., IA.
2)The Swiss Anabaptist Genealogical Association's web site has several databases listing him and his parents and their ancestry.
3) The July issue of Mennonite Family History has an article entitled "The Conrad Family: From Montbeliard to America, Part 1" authored by Curt Roth that lists Samuel along with family and ancestors. Footnote 120 shows his burial at Norcatur Cem - his source for this is "Kansas Genealogy Trails", transcribed by Ann Brown.
Sam's Paternal grandparents were Hans and Margaretha (Conrad) Eicher. I'm researching the Conrad/Kunrad family - my maternal side of the family. Hope this helps.
