I was just working on this family and found the marriage record for Lillie and Charles. That names his parents as Marshall Gazette and Louise, or Louisa. His social security application gives his full name as George Gideon Gazette, gives his birth date as 10/29/1868 and names his parents as Christophe M Gazette - and "Christophe's" death record says he was Christopher Marshall Gazette, but the census records I have found for him indicate he used Marshall Gazette as his name. Charles remarried in 1912 to Elizabeth (Elder) Edwards. This marriage record again names his father as Christopher Gazette and mother as "Louis" Montville [other records have Monville]
Lillian Raynard Gazette Find A Grave Memorial# 131193059
This seems to link her to a different George Gazette, but certainly the birth dates and his parents are not the same.
Norbert is my great-great grandfather. Just wondering how you came up with his birth and death dates. The only date I could find is his burial at Ste Julie Laurierville on Dec 13, 1870. When I had it translated, it said he died the "day before yesterday" which I calculate to be the 11th and you have the 3rd.
I have no one to ask in my family, all are gone. All I have are my grandparents death certificates and have been working backwards since then.
Thanks for your help.

So since it has been awhile I got a little further along with the research. You had listed the family name McGloin and I was hoping you are a relative with my friend at work. I don't think so. His family came from Boston, Massachusetts by way of Canada. His 4th great grandfather James McGloin came to Boston by the mid 1880's. He was born in St. John's, New Brunswick, Canada in 1831. He married a Catherine McCarthy. None of your family names match up though.
I am searching the McGloin Family for a friend at work. Please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org. Maybe I can get some additional information from you.
|MEB||RE: Thibodeau Trial Giroux Family|
Find A Grave removed all my notes & flowers (about 127) as of Sept 5, 2013 (date I noticed it) for reasons I do not know. I will look into my old notes (as well as my file) to see what I might have said in the notes. Meanwhile, you might want to look at Cérille (Cyrille) Thibodeau (Find A Grave Memorial# 113202110, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSmcid=47998630&GRid=113202110&)
Re: Thibodeau Trial Giroux Family
I just left two flowers with notes for Adéle Thibodeau Trial and one for Clarina Marie Trial Giroux. You might want to read them. Adéle and Isidore had more children than what you have listed on Find A Grave. I will look into the Drouin Collection (Quebec Vital Records) for you tomorrow. Note: This record is not easiest to research and most of it is in French.
