Bio and Links
Bio Photo San Diego has some of the best Find a Grave contributors who are doing an amazing job of documenting our local cemeteries. If you need a grave photo there is no shortage photo volunteers. If you are looking for an obituary, cemetery information or advice we have volunteers happy to help you.
If you are new to Find a Grave and want to start contributing in the San Diego area please read the FAQs or reach out to someone with your questions.

Please always do a search before creating a new memorial

Links, Corrections and additional information
Please use the edit tab and I will be happy to make corrections, add links and additional information. Do not leave information you want added on this page.

Note: Abstracted lists (such as census, death index, etc.) should be formulated into complete sentences prior to submitting for addition to the bio.
Copy-and-paste census, military and other data is not a "bio". Please don't send these type of bios because they will not be added.

Transfers
This is Find-a-Grave, we find graves, so please, if the memorial doesn't have a grave photo, request one prior to asking for a transfer.
I'm pretty liberal when it comes to transfers, however too many times I have transferred and nothing is added or changed. So if you want a transfer, please:
1. Post any family photos (if you have them)
2. Provide me with family links and biographical information you wish to add to the memorial.
3. Tell me your exact relationship

I will not make a transfer if you create excessive memorials with unknown burial locations.

Please be a Find a Grave contributor, not just a collector of someone else's work

✔ PLEASE NOTE!!! Do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate.

John Corradini
Very eager for more information on John/ Giovanni. I have been doing genealogical research on my husband's Corradini lines since the 1970s and have a lot from Italy. I am now trying to track those who immigrated to US.
Are you related to this John or did another person send you the bio info? I am most eager to correspond with whomever provided that information.

"While engaged in machine gunnery practice, the scouting plane H-16 of squadron two, North Island navy aviation base, crashed into the Pacific ocean off Spanish Bight at 10:30 this morning, killing five men and injuring three."

RE: Ada McGovney
I am no relation. She was my grandmother-in-law's best friend and we inherited the picture in a box full of mementos. I've tried to find a direct decendent on Ancestry.com to mail it to. Don't assign the memorial to me; I'm just hoping someone will see that I added the photo and will contact me about it.

Ada McGovney
I added a picture of Ada McGovney to her memorial. It's a lovely 1906 photo sent to my husband's grandmother. I wanted to get it scanned and stored somewhere before I pass and my children just toss it. Memorial 108891567. Hope that was OK.

RE: Leah Burrell
She was born Leah Fahnestock. Her mother divorced Alvin Edward Fahnestock abt 1901 and married Frank August Braitsch. The daughter went by Braitsch on the census records and newspaper articles. I do not know if she was legally adopted by Frank. I wasn't sure how to show her.
Thanks for your help.

RE: Lalla
You are welcome. All I need is the name and birth or death dates (or both). I love doing this stuff!
