I am a member of the San Diego Genealogical Society. |
When I'm in a cemetery for a project, I also take photos and info of others there, especially vets.
The best way to let me know about changes for a memorial is to use the Edit button on the memorial. This sends links for the memorial and you. Much easier that way to find everything. And the new edit system makes it even easier.
If I have a memorial of a relative, I will gladly add/change the info, or transfer it over to you, just send an Edit (SAC) with the info.
Please notify me of any mistakes I have made on any memorial so I can fix them.
Sometimes I will post a poor quality picture, but I feel something is better than nothing. If somebody has a better picture posted, I will gladly delete mine.
Thanks, and Happy Graving

I was at Lislaughtin in late May and took photos of any gravestone with the family names of my ancestors from that area.
One family name is Enright and I saw there were some Holly/Enright marriages - so I photographed those too. But I missed one for Michael Holly & his wife Margaret (Enright) Holly and their son Johnny and Johnny's wife Peggy..
If you have more photos to add to any of the remaining Holly memorials that I created without a photo, feel free to add your photo to those.
Thanks for your help.

Hello Larry. Thank you for your message. I am a relation. Do you need more information?

Hi Larry, I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working right now on finding the last known resting place of many of our soldiers/sailors that have ties to Vt. John Cook is one I'm searching for, and would like to ask you if I could use the photo you posted on Find A Grave of his marker. I would like it to add to the Vermont Civil War data base. ( www.vermontcivilwar.org). You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration on this.

I was totally surprised to see one of my relatives. I was nice to view again for I haven't been to San Diego in over 10 years. Thank you. Aunt Jen was my grandma's sister. She and their brother, uncle George, are also buried there.

So very much, sir, for posting the picture of my great, great grandmother's headstone. It is doubtful that I will ever make it across the country to visit her grave and I am so honored that you took the time to visit and grave and take this for me.

Hi Larry, Someone brought to my attention that Mildred was listed twice....one is yours and the other mine. You had yours on first. I am related to Mildred through the Read family (her mother) and wondered if you would mind if I could keep mine on Find A Grave. If you are related and do not want to delete your sit let me know and I will delete mine.

Thank-you for the transfer, I would not have found them had you not created the memorials, much appreciation for your contribution in creating these. Lucuis was 1 of 17 children, hoping I can link them all.
