|Thanks to all the dedicated people who have made suggestions, added photographs or portraits to the memorials, and who care enough to go the extra mile to help make the memorials I maintain as accurate as possible. I may not always have the time to thank you individually, but I do appreciate corrections or additional information. I will always try to make changes as quickly as possible. |
If you are a direct relation (4 generations) of someone whose memorial I maintain and wish a transfer, please ask. Generally I am happy to transfer memorials, but wish to be assured that the memorial I transferred will be maintained.
Please feel free to use any photographs that I have taken for genealogical purposes. If other people have posted photographs on the memorials I maintain, though, you will need to contact them for permission to use their photos. Also, if you wish to add a photo to one of the memorials I maintain for which a photo already exists, I don't mind. It may be that your photograph is better than the one I took. So much depends on the time of day the photo is taken, whether or not it is a sunny day, and other considerations.

My father and I are so excited to find the memorials on my father's great grandparents and great aunt. There are a couple errors. On Nancy, her father was Peter Tonge, not Tonga as on the memorial #87327800. Her birth was 8 Jan, 1871, not 1877.
The middle name for Lydia #87327550 is actually Ione, not Jane. I can see from the death certificate why it appeared to be Jane. The family records are all clearly Ione.
Thanks so much for posting these. Are you in any way related?

That is what I thought. That is why I turned it over to you.
I have seen name changes but.. not like this one.

THANK YOU Brenda. You are a sweetheart.
|jan james||RE: Grayce Bushnell Hefner,|
I'm so sorry - had the wrong tree in mind. I am working on the BROCKSOME line which is tied into my tree(s). Charles Henry BROCKSOME is the father of William Brocksome.
|jan james||RE: Grayce Bushnell Hefner,|
I'm not a descendant but helping a friend work on her tree. Thank you again for all your work. It's much appreciated.

Grayce was married to Arthur Ernest VOLLMER May 30, 1928 in Julesburg, Sedgwick Co., CO. They had son Robert Richard VOLLMER. A side note is that Arthur Ernest VOLLMER's birth name is BROCKSOME. His father was William H. BROCKSOME (aka Timothy W. BROCKSOME). firstname.lastname@example.org

Are you kidding me?? You are a Rock Star!! Boy, that mystery didn't last long, did it? Do you mind if I ask where you located the death record? Just yesterday I was looking for Utah Death Records, and it said they weren't required to started keeping them until 1905, so I gave up. I do have a photo of Eliza's grave that I need to post, although there doesn't seem to be any indication of the baby with her. If you want to go ahead and take your own photo, I would be fine with that. =) Please feel free to email me if you wish.
|Pamela Johnson Mortensen||RE: Little Tom Wallin|
Brenda, it is such a thrill to have found someone that somebody else was looking for! =) Little Tom was a surprise to ME, since I was only aware of his two sisters until I discovered him on the 1880 census. He died of diphtheria the following year, at age almost 3. His mother Eliza had died the previous August of "puerperal peritonitis", a postpartum infection that implies that she had a another baby after Tom, but I'm still looking for that. Tom's father Charles was the second husband of my great-grand aunt, Ina Lincoln Dick Wallin, so that's my connection to this shirt-tail relative. As soon as I can find both of Tom's sisters to link to his parents, they will show up as his siblings. Stay tuned. =) Pam
