Several years ago my Father asked me to find out as much about his family as I could as his Dad had not been around much when he was younger and his parents eventually divorced. That simple request sent me on my journey that now includes my husband and my children and takes me to Canada, Europe, and the Hawaiian Islands with the long history of the Kohala Coast. The importance of doing family research was strongly reenforced with the sudden passing of my 25 year-old daughter, Sara, in 2010. Now my husband and I jointly take pictures for other families in hopes of putting their families together, if only years later.|

Susan. Deepest sympathy in regards to your daughter who suddenly passed away in 2010. We almost lost ours in 1992. We can only imagine how difficult this must have been. It is wonderful you are helping families on Find-A-Grave. May your holidays this year be especially happy and comforting for you and your husband.

Would you be willing to transfer Seymour Juna Smith, #148197607 to me? He is a 2xgreat uncle. He and his wife Anice Matteson were the brother and sister of my great grandparents, Charlie & Stella Matteson Smith.
If they are your relatives also, I would love to connect with you privately.

Susan, Family Search has the marriage for Frances Marion Stowell (daughter of AC Stowell and Stella Parker). She married Robert Knapp Hier on either 11 or 12 Jan 1929 in Jefferson County, New York (both dates are given). I believe this is the Frances Hier Stowell you entered on Find a Grave. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Peggy

Aloha e Susan,
I tried to fulfill your photo request for Mary Ortiz today... but wasnʻt able to find her. The area in the cemetery where she is buried is not very well marked and I wasnʻt able to find the section. However, I will go back next week and try again... will also ask at the office if she has a stone... there is a lot of empty spaces in that area and I donʻt know if there are unmarked graves there. Will check... but, I did find another Mary Ortiz 1891-1964... and I created a page for her and posted a photo. If she is yours let me know and I will be happy to transfer her to you...

I see you've made many entries in Halawa Cemetery. Above is an entry, here in Pennsylvania, and the tombstone says he is buried there.
Do you have any insight on this KIA veteran in that cemetery? If you can add him there with data, that would be wayyy kool for our research documenting these WWII vets.
Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your edit. Please let me know your source for this birthdate edit. See his parent's names and their birthdates on FG links. His WW I info gives the birthdate I have on his memorial.
