More than happy to make corrections and add relationship links to other memorials. Please use the "Edit" tab to submit corrections, additions or transfer request.

Please remember that cemetery listings are primary a historical record, which can be a great help to genealogical research. It is not important who manages the information as much as having it available to the public for research. The listings and/or memorials are not up for grabs based on lineage. Therefore I do not transfers memorials based these. I will continue to transfer memorials within Find A Grave guidelines and those that have been sponsored.
If you are considering asking for a transfer; read the Find A Grave guidelines.

Note from the FAQs:
How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?

Bulk surname requests should not be made.

Find A Grave Memorial# 42488545

Should be linked to her husband's Find A Grave Memorial# 42488546

If William's military stone says delivered to Williamsport Cemetery, could they both be in the wrong cemetery?

William Lewis Buerger
Find A Grave Memorial# 42488546

You have him interred in the wrong cemetery. I sent edits for his dates and birth and death locations with links for his mother and father.

His memorial should reflect that he is buried at Wlliamsport Cemetery. Please change his burial location.

I'll ask that Miranda to delete her memorial for him (Find A Grave Memorial# 79644539)

Thank you so much.

#45719637 Henry Darling

I posted a military record for Henry Darling. He was a PVT in Company I, 187th PA INF. You inadvertently listed the regiment as the 137th. The document shows his enlistment period and date of death.

He was married to Margaret Bockus, Born Abt. 1832, NY. Name verified by both census records and son's death certificate. However, I have been unable to locate her grave. Thought you might reference info on Margaret in his bio.

I also submitted an edit for a link to both his father and a son. I hope this helps family make additional connections. I appreciate your assistance. Thanks so much for your work. Fred

Find A Grave Memorial# 42451245

I am wondering where you found your info on parents.
I believe this is probably Aaron Williamson, son of Alexander Williamson and Christina Dena Sherman Williamson. He has siblings buried in this cemetery and he names his two children after a brother and a sister, Daniel and Hannah. I checked info in and its possible John and Lydia's son, Aaron was not killed in the war.
Please let me know what you think.
Thank you,

Incorrect birth date (year)
Memorial #46099014

Lydia Spencer

Birth: Sep. 8, 1821
Death: Sep. 22, 1886

Family links:
Lorenzo Doud Spencer (1820 - 1896)*

Martha Adaliza Spencer Belcher (1846 - 1908)*

You have the birth year listed as 1824 but a careful look at the stone shows it is 1824.
The < of the 4 is faint but there. If it was a 1 it would be carved further to the left of the stone.

Emma Christine Winkel Balmer
Revision requested for my great-grandmother's birth information,Memorial# 45739955

which currently reads:
Birth: Aug. 2, 1869
Lackawanna County
Pennsylvania, USA

The date is correct, but place of birth should read: Schilleningken, East Prussia (today near Gusev, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia).

She immigrated in 1871 as a baby and spent early years in Scranton; the latter was given on her death cert in 1945 likely due to anti-German sentiment during WWII.

If you have space to add a note on this: her original maiden name was KATZWINKEL, which was changed to WINKEL by her family in 1875.

Thanks very much!
