James Hughes - 2nd Larger Stone
Hi, Finding an ancester, James Hughes, Find A Grave# 18242124, I see you took a couple of photos a while ago of the stones. Unfortuneately, the shadow on the larger stone and resolution of the download which isn't really your fault, causes it not to be readable when pulled for inlargement. I was wondering, not knowing your physical location to the cemetery, whether you could go back and get another shot of the 2nd stone you shot & re-post over the original shot, but now without a shadow, and could you "touch"/change the contrast to help read the info on the stone. Looks like the letters are cut on a dull gray slate and will not "project" the letter images that well? Good luck and keep me aprised... appreciate your time. Looking fwd to the info off the stone... KC

Conrad Reutzel info
Annie the Margaretha Reutzel in Sutton Cemetery, you said her bio states she was wife of Conrad. Can you send me a copy of that bio? email...detef@longlines.com This is my husbands 2nd great grandmother and Conrad was to have moved to Kansas to live with dau. he must have died there but nothing in findagrave. The dau. and her husband did move back to Nebr. and are buried there, but no Conrad born 1831. Thank you for your work.

RE: Vaclav and Cathrina Sramek
Hello, I passed your message onto a relative who has researched Srameks. She replies "The Vaclav in Atkinson is our Vaclav's first cousin. He was born in 1846. They are grandsons of Josef Sramek. Vaclav in Atkinson came over with his wife, but I'm pretty sure her name was not Catharina. They had a young daughter, who apparently died. Then they had another daughter who married a Dvorak, I believe. I have tried to communicate with one of their descendants, but they did not respond. There was one other Vaclav Sramek, but in the Chicago area. People have made him my grandfather in their family trees. To clarify, the Vaclav in Atkinson is NOT our Vaclav buried in Immaculate Conception." Maybe this will help answer some of your questions??

Betty Petersen #154624627
You mention an Obit. for this lady was she a Reutzel??? If so she is a relative. I am also looking for the grave sites of Conrad Reutzel and his wife Anna in Nebr., would have been Grandparents or great grandparents of Betty. And also my husband. Can not find on find a grave so maybe never logged in. He died while living with daughter Catherine Longbine and she is on find a grave.

RE: 84296224 and 84296108
Hi Annie, here are their biographies - I thought you might like to see. I will make a memorial for the first wife, Mary Scherers and connect Michel and his wives with their children, too. Thanks for the transfer, Judy

Michel Schaaf and his wives
sorry about one detail in error in my earlier message - 21 Dec 1870 was indeed the birthdate of Mary Timmermans (not Mary Rose Scherer).
