13 May 2014: I am getting too many e-mails giving me information that I have no idea what to do with, requests for edits that make no sense, supposed duplicates but no FAG #'s, etc. I am fairly good at what I do but (unless you are my husband) a mind reader I am not. If you send me something, please explain what you want done with it, add FAG numbers to people you want edited. Please use the EDIT link for names,dates and linking. If you have no e-mail in your profile, I am going to delete the e-mail sent to me.|
I was was born and raised in Marshfield, WI. I have been deeply involved in genealogy for over 25 years. Along with research, I have also run a Family History Center and taught classes. I am willing to do research for most requests. I am well located for Wood, Clark, Marathon and Taylor counties. Lincoln and Portage are also near by.
This is my system for doing cemeteries. I have a government job that has strange hours and erratic appointment times. I have learned to carry a camera and area cemetery maps with me at all times. I may have minutes or hours in between things so that may determine how many pictures get taken. I take a picture of every stone as time allows including cleaning up the really nasty ones. I do look over the requests but do not "claim" them because I don't know when I will get them downloaded so that may explain why "requests" are filled "hit and miss". (It's also really to hard to see all those tiny photos in my program to pick and chose certain ones!)I have taken as few as 200 pictures to 800+ per cemetery visit depending on time and the size of the cemetery. I multi-task in front of the TV at night.
Please feel free to use my photos anyway you want. I believe in sharing. No special request is needed.
Also I do not care if you use my personal e-mail to contact me about edits but PLEASE include the name, cemetery and FAG number. I have been getting too many e-mails without this info and since the majority of my contributions are complete strangers to me, it is hard to respond properly with out this info.
Feel free to ask for transfers. Except for my own family I have no special attachment to the 1000's of photos I have taken. I think the comedian Rodney Dangerfield said "Take them, PLEASE, they're mine!"
Recently, I made an observation--Delete and Deliver both begin with "de" which explains why when I am tired I may hit the wrong one so if I don't respond or make an edit try again. I also noted that other words begin with "de" like dementia, demented, delusional and delirium, which explains the rest of me.

I usually add the source to any obits I find, but sometimes the copy/paste doesn't get done so...
For Memorial# 115556950 Margaret Cross (1 May 1879 – 12 Aug. 1951) Source: Marathon County Register (Unity, Clark County, Wis.) Friday, 21 Sept. 1951
For Memorial# 129811370 Louise Cramer (17 Aug. 1883 – 3 May 1976) Source: Marshfield News-Herald (Marshfield, Wood County, Wis.) Monday, 3 May 1976
Thanks for adding all my other obits to the bio.s and for all your work.

|Tim Koenig||A big THANK YOU!|
Kathleen is a high school classmate of mine. She's created 40,000 plus Find-A-Grave pages. I'm late to this game, but am in the process of creating pages for family and friends - most in Wisconsin. Seems every time I decide to create a new memorial Kathleen has beaten me to the punch, having already created a page for my loved ones, with photos, and often additional information. Thanks for all your hard work and for the transfers. - Tim
|LeRoy L. Smith||Robert Dickinson, #104349700|
Thank you Kathleen, for your efforts in trying to fill my Photo Request in the case of the above person's gravesite. I could not understand why there was no record until I compared the Find-A-Grave Memorial (Robert Dickinson) with his obituary. Apparently the contributor listed the incorrect cemetery as burial site. According to his obituary, Robert is buried at Restlawn Cemetery in Wausau. (And I did not notice this difference) I will correspond with the contributor and point out what may be an error on their part. I'm sorry for the unnecessary work on your part. Again, thank you and Best Wishes.

Thank you for finding this grave for me. My extended family will appreciate the information. Can't wait to send the photo to my 92 yr. old Mother - Joseph was her Uncle.

|Jonelle||RE: St. Thomas|
I deleted the duplicates. I believe this one: 77324214 is on the same stone as this one: 109822928
They must have named their children similar or the same names if one passed away?

|RiverFallsHistory||St. Bridgets River Falls|
I have been going through St. Bridgets Cemetery in River Falls and have sent you many edits on how people are related there and more specific dates and more. I am not trying to overwhelm you, but want to go through each cemetery to link up who I know about. - Dan River Falls.
