Bio and Links
Bio Photo 13 May 2014: I am getting too many e-mails giving me information that I have no idea what to do with, requests for edits that make no sense, supposed duplicates but no FAG #'s, etc. I am fairly good at what I do but (unless you are my husband) a mind reader I am not. If you send me something, please explain what you want done with it, add FAG numbers to people you want edited. Please use the EDIT link for names, dates and linking. If you have no e-mail in your profile, I am going to delete the e-mail sent to me.

I was was born and raised in Marshfield, WI. I have been deeply involved in genealogy for over 25 years. Along with research, I have also run a Family History Center and taught classes. I am willing to do research for most requests. I am well located for Wood, Clark, Marathon and Taylor counties. Lincoln and Portage are also near by.

This is my system for doing cemeteries. I have a government job that has strange hours and erratic appointment times. I have learned to carry a camera and area cemetery maps with me at all times. I may have minutes or hours in between things so that may determine how many pictures get taken. I take a picture of every stone as time allows including cleaning up the really nasty ones. I do look over the requests but do not "claim" them because I don't know when I will get them downloaded so that may explain why "requests" are filled "hit and miss". (It's also really to hard to see all those tiny photos in my program to pick and chose certain ones!)I have taken as few as 200 pictures to 800+ per cemetery visit depending on time and the size of the cemetery. I multi-task in front of the TV at night.

Please feel free to use my photos anyway you want. I believe in sharing. No special request is needed.

Also I do not care if you use my personal e-mail to contact me about edits but PLEASE include the name, cemetery and FAG number. I have been getting too many e-mails without this info and since the majority of my contributions are complete strangers to me, it is hard to respond properly with out this info.
Feel free to ask for transfers. Except for my own family I have no special attachment to the 1000's of photos I have taken. I think the comedian Rodney Dangerfield said "Take them, PLEASE, they're mine!"
Recently, I made an observation--Delete and Deliver both begin with "de" which explains why when I am tired I may hit the wrong one so if I don't respond or make an edit try again. I also noted that other words begin with "de" like dementia, demented, delusional and delirium, which explains the rest of me.

Thank you for the SAC to correct the cemetery for Mrs. Thompson and for the photo of her marker. I appreciate you letting me know that I had placed her memorial page in the wrong cemetery. Red

Thank you for the pictures of their tombstones. I am all wrapped up in the geneology of my Wisconsin family. Here are two more pieces of the puzzle! I appreciate your time in taking their pictures.

Kathleen, The Bentley family is buried in the Bohemian National Cemetery at Neva Corners, Langlade Co. WI. You have added great photos for this cemetery and St. Wencel's Catholic Cemetery. The problem is they are two separate cemeteries. I don't know how it happened, but somehow the Bohemian National got changed to the St. Wencel. Another Bohemian National has now been added and I'll transfer the ones I know are in that cemetery into it. So please check when you add your photos to see if they are listed in the Bohemian one. Thank you for all you're doing to help with this great project, it is appreciated! Luella

Hi Kathleen,
Thanks for checking the censuses. I wish the mother's name had been mentioned also in the son's obituary. I'm not going to assume that this is the right father, for now, since I knew two guys in high school in the same grade with the same name. They had to use middle initials to tell them apart. They were first cousins.

RE: Laufenberg
Oops! Thanks for catching that! The incorrect photo is removed. Was the monument in the area, or do I need to remove that too?
