I am currently working on the family tree of my husband's family. Specifically ,the Ferrington Family from Redford Twp, Michigan who originated from Herkimer, New York. The other surnames I am researching are White (Romeo, MI), Kerckhove/Kerchove/VandeKerckhove (Belgium to Detroit and Moline, Illinois), Crawford (Detroit), Searfoss (Milan, MI), Prindle (Redford, MI), and Ziegeler (Detroit).|
I love to visit cemeteries. I find great satisfaction in documenting as many graves as I can in Southeast Michigan and any city I visit. Everyone should be remembered and I encourage everyone to leave their mark (headstone) in this world.
Oak Hill Cemetery - Pontiac, Michigan
My husband and I are working on getting all the graves photographed and memorials added on Find-A-Grave. We have completed sections 2 and 5 - 11 in the older sections of the cemetery. We are currently working on Section 4 and currently have about 1/4 of it to complete.
Note about my photos: I crop all of my pictures for the best readability of the headstone.

Thanks so much for the newspaper article for Eugene Cretal. It helped me figure out the connection to the DeGrow family.

Thank you SO much for taking the photos, even though there were no headstones, for my Wallace family members at Oak Hill Cemetery. Though it is always sad to find that no headstones were ever laid for family members, it is still refreshing to know their final resting spots. I REALLY appreciate your time and effort on my behalf looking for, and then photographing their final place of rest. I apologize for my delay in responding but I just returned from vacation and I have been working through my email log.

Sarah would be my gg-aunt and was married in 1888 according to our family sources. My gg-father was Silas Taylor Mason Clark, William's brother :)
Thank you for your hard work and documentation. :)

Thanks for posting photos on their memorials, especially the ones that show no grave marker. I have made a note in the bio which indicates there is no headstone on the site.
On the Stevens memorial - Susan D. Alger Stevens - now recorded as Susan F. Alger Stevens Austin - I found her death certificate which indicates she actually died as an Austin. Apparently you found her buried with the Stevens family, her first husband. Was there a family monument showing the Stevens name that you can add to all the Steven's memorials that you photographed?
