John L. Coleman
John L. Coleman birth year is 1847. You can look at the picture of stone and see that it is 1847 and not 1857. Thanks, Mary

nother child of Oswad Warrington
It is difficult to find exact proof of Warburton bower Warrington being a son of Oswald and Martha. I know that Oswald and Martha Warrington were Warburton Bower Warrington's parents, but hard to prove. The family Bible says W.B. was born in Albion, Illinois and Edwards County, Ill. history mentions Oswald Warrington several times. Oswald Warrington is buried in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. His tombstone says he was born in the town. The older children are mentioned with their parents, but not Warburton. And while if you look at the 1830 and 1840 census show a child in the right age brackets to be Warburton, he's not listed by name. Also W.B. named a son Oswald Warrington, after his father. I did not find an interesting article that seems to tie it all together.

Warrington Land Claim
Rightfully Heir to thousands in Illinois City
His father traded Land in Albany for a gold watch
But the sale was not legal and can be contested Remeniscent Sequel to Meeting a Manchester Chap

Warburton Bowers Warrington the ex-preacher may lay a claim to a vast tract of land in the city of Albany, Illinois. The only thing that prevents him from st once putting the plan into operation is the fact that he is not prepared for a heavy drain upon his resources which the litigation would involve.

He became a reminiscent yesterday when he met a Manchester, England man, and he proudly stated that his father was also from the city of spindles. No, he was no Angiomaniac, neither was he imported, but it was a source of gratification to him that he had been named after a famous English Archbishop. Under these circumstances, it is no wonder he had early been imbued with the theological fire which flashed from the fervid orator and namesake so to speak.

"Well, that's rather a big cognomen for a little man". banteringly exclaimed Attorney Rhonemos.

"Why, in days long ago they called me the "little giant," was the irrapressable retort.

Warrington says his father on arriving in this country bought land in Albion and Albany and that he later traded a number of acres for a gold watch. At that time Albany did not boast of more than thirty houses, and from a prrairie hamlet it has grown to a populous city, thus appreciating the value of the property by thousands of dollars.

"Should I take it to court I could easily prove there was no legal sale, and the musty record in my possession would prove ok." said Warrington

Warburton Bower Warrington b. 10 March 1821 in Albion, Ill and died 26 April 1900 in Middletown, Ohio He's buried in the Historical and Pioneer Cemetery, Middletown, Butler county, Ohio.
