I am now retired and do a lot of geocaching, which takes me to a lot of cemetaries. I love seeing the old and unusual gravestones. I get a lot of exercise from walking the cemetaries and looking for requested monuments. it gives me great pleasure to find the monuments to fullfil the requests. If I can be of any assistance in this area please feel free to contact me. I am in Perry County, Ohio and am close to Licking, Muskingham, Fairfield, Hocking, Athens counties. |
Any memorials I have set up will be transferred to family members upon request.
***Please note: At times I may take 500, 600, or even 700 pictures a day when trying to document a cemetery. Some of the photos may not turn out well but at least there is a picture to document the marker and dates. If you would like me to get a better picture for you let me know. I will not be offended by your asking. Daylight, shadows, wet markers etc. can affect the quality.

Could you also transfer this memorial to me so that I can combine all of the family. Her parents are the Donley and son stone at Ebaneezer Church in Perry County that everyone by passes when they take pictures. Elaine Hopkins Day

|Kellie Rutter||Michael, Phillip and Terry Bowers|
I have submitted edits for their death dates. I went to the Nelsonville library and looked up their obits. So sad! These 3 brothers had went on a family vacation and drowned.
According to the obit it stated
Michael Bowers, Phillip and Terry Bowers
Young Licking Boys Die
A fishing trip as a part of a Meigs County vacation ended in tragedy for 3 brothers of Pataskala, who drowned in a pond on the farm of Dory Wolfe, Racine Rte 2, on Monday.
Dead as a result of the illfated outing when a makeshift raft overturned throwing them into the water. Dead are Michael Allen 10; Phillip Edward 8 and Terry Wayne 6- sons of Mr and Mrs Ernest (Mae)Bowers. They had arrived on Friday to visit Mrs Bowers parents Mr and Mrs Carson Hayes.
Escaping from the overturned craft were Bowers, father of the 3 youths and Billy Hayes 11, cousin of the drowned boys.
Ila Mae Hayes Bowers was the 3 boys mother and they had no other siblings.

did not know baack40 was you. I was not aware of the transfer option on edit. Thank you, I will use it in the future. I have been working on entering related family memorials to help people with links. Hope all is well. Thank you again.

Thank you for the fast response. I am still looking for his exact death date in Ohio records. His wife, Nancy Emma Olive (Burnett) Cable passed away in Jackson County, Ohio on Dec. 10th, 1885 of tuberculosis. Unfortunately not sure where she's buried and I can't find her on Find A Grave.
Do you mind transferring John's memorial to my care? I would sincerely appreciate it.

Just wondering if you have any connection to John Cable (#128088385). This is my 2nd Great Grandfather.
