re:Two Ollie Myrtle Shinkle women
I only have info on one who was born 1890 Wilson KS and I am not sure of the death as 1890--someone else gave me that info but I do know she was not alive when that fabulous picture of the parents and all rest o f the children was taken. Hope you have seen the picture. If not let me know here3 and I will get one to you. Gini Winn

I am so sorry about the error for this memorial. I apparently repeated the baby's ID number. I have added a correction. Thank you for your help.

RE: John Hilborn
Hello,

Please be assured I was not trying to be evasive. I wanted to send you the family tree images directly, however, with having your email address suppressed I was unable to do so. I tried to send the information as best as I could.

I'll try to explain via text:

- My dad was William M. Mess # 86157850

- His Mom was Merle Elizabeth Blessing Mess # 117494862

- Her dad was James Freeman Blessing # 117469693

- Jamesí sister, Eliza Jane Blessing #117662726 married Charles Eugene Hilborn #117665224

- His dad was John Hilborn # 44777181

- and his dad was John Hilborn # 61806040 who is interred in the Lanesboro, PA cemetery

Excepting for John Hilborn interred in the Lanesboro cemetery, all are interred in the McKune Cemetery.

All of these family members not only were related they were neighbors as well.

If my verbiage remains unclear please contact me directly via my email, cjbrukner@gmail.com In that manner I can send you what I tried to supply the links to in my previous note.

When responding to provide supporting documentation, I have found the use of posting a public message to have its disadvantages.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Nancy

RE: John Hilborn
Hi,
These web links to Geni will offer a visual display of the family tree that shows my lineage from Mess -> Blessing -> Hilborn

If more details are needed, please send me another note. The Hilborn, Blessing, and Mess farms, aside from being relation, were also next door neighbors during my dad's time and his parents time.

Isaac Richee
Isaac Thomas Richee is my ancestor. He was born on 14 Aug 1839 in Kentucky and died on 15 Mar 1891 in Wilson County, Kansas. I recently went out to the cemetery and got photos.
Obituary:
Newspaper article: New Albany, Kan., March 17th, 1891
"Editor Citizen: On the morning of the 15th inst. comrade I. T. Richee, of Fall River township, called his' family to his bedside, bid each of them good-bye for this world, and in a few hours passed peacefully away. Consumption caused his death. His age was 51 years. During the war he was a member of Company B, 18th Missouri Infantry. He was a member of New Albany Post, No. 119, G.A.R. Comrades of New Albany and Fall River Posts attended the funeral, the interment of comrade Richee being made at Coyville.
W.H. Forsyth,
J. R. Clift,
Of G.A.R., Post No. 119."

Shinkle list
sorry, I should have said Ollie Myrtle Shinkle was not in the picture because she was b. 1890 and d. 1890 and that picture was when most of the children were adults.

RE: John Hilborn, Sr.
Hello again, I forgot to mention in my last note about John's grandson's memorial text if you'd care to view it:

RE: John Hilborn, Sr.
Hi, Thank you for your very kind response. I've dug out my grandmother Blessing's notes to revise the text I sent you. She was a sister of Eliza Jane Blessing who married Charles Eugene Hilborn, son of John Hilborn interred in Lanesboro Cemetery. When I finish all the other Hilborn texts I'll be in contact with you again.

Again, thank you so much for your patience and kindness.

Arminda Jane Stringham Shinkle
Arminda and John Lincoln Shinkle actualliy had 12 children and one is left out in the listing in Find A Grave info. The missing child is Elsie P, born secondly to John Lincoln Shinkle and his wife --Arminda Jane Stringham who was raised by and aunt and uncle. I have SHINKLE and associated family entries in Ancestry.com under vmwp70 with pictures of the John Lincoln and Arminda Shinkle family but w/o Elise P. Very noticeable is the receeding hairlines of the males and the shape and size of noses of boys. Picture can be seen in Ancestry.com in my SHINKLE entry. My stepfather was of this Shinkle line. winngen7391@aol.com GINI WINN in Ancestry.com

Emily Wilmot interred at Lanesboro Cemetery
While looking for something else I happened onto this heart wrenching news about Miss Wilmot's death and attached it to your memorial.

If you're interested, in the past month http://www.fultonhistory.com/fulton.html loaded editions of a Susquehanna PA newspaper. It may take a couple tries before you locate what you seek as the originals were not in the best condition.

Best wishes,
Nancy M.
