I was born in 1926. I started working on my family tree in 2000. I was learning what little I know about computers at the same time.Had never touched one until my children talked me into it in 1999 (Nov) For Christmas that year my Daughter and Son-in-law gave me the Family Tree Maker.I had a few notes that I had writen down from my Mother. Luck would have it that I found her family in Kentucky with a lot of help from Doug Moore. At this time I am working on the families from around Allen, Adair, Barren, Metcalfe, Warren and Monroe County, Kentucky, Warren County, Tennessee, and Caswell County, North Carolina.Hagan, Crisp, Goodman, Garman and Rowe in KY. Crisp, Warren, Anderson, Snipes, Masey and Henegar in Tennessee. Crisp, Warren, Cooper and many more in North Carolina.I Live in California. Seems that I have left the impression that I live in places where I am searching. I don't travel around anymore since 2005.Thanks to all who have posted memorials.
George W. Darnell obit. Ms. Hess----I live within one mile of the Morrison, TN Cemetery. Through local newspaper research I have discovered the 1939 obit. for George W. Darnell(Find A Grave# 75697013). Could you possibly transfer management of this memorial to me(#48229270) so that I may add this obit. to Mr. Darnell's biography?
William Warren Hi I am trying to figure out a big puzzle here and I hope you can help - you have William (71823653) listed with Thomas and Rachel Sargent as parents. All I can find is Rachel Sargent married to John Warren. Also William married to Mary Elizabeth Hackley. Can you help me out - do I have the wrong line? you can email me email@example.com if you wish.
RE: Dorothy Dearman # 74795552 Hello: She was married to my 5th cousin James Robert Dearman. My link to the Dearman family is via the Darnells and Brixeys. James Brixey born 1814 is my 4th Great Grandfather. He is my blood connection.
Geraldine Thomas Hopkins It is a new record I have been seeing recently. called... U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007.....a SS record that is really helpful. I have a record in my ancestry tree. Do you have access to ancestry? There are also quilt a lot of new marriage and deaths certificates out also that were not there just a couple of years ago. If you don't have access to a tree you can send me your email and I can give you access to mine then you could print the record. I think Ollie ended up in California and I have a son for ollie in my tree but I am not sure if any is correct. Nancy Lee

Warren Family Hi Joy, Nice to hear from you . I see your name often on the find a grave site and I have also read (and used) your history of William Warren (1680-1726) you submitted to the Caswell County Historical Society. Nice job and thanks for all your work...it has helped me tremendously. I have been working on the Warren side of my tree for about 2 months now..what a lot of work. I have a tree on ancestry which helps me organize things. By ancestry calculations ( I could never figure this out on my own) I am the 6th great granddaughter of Mary Warren Burgess(1715 of Spotsylvania, Virginia) daughter of William Warren (1680-1726). I don't know if you have access to ancestry but if you do take a look at my tree sometime...burgess2011 family tree. I do appreciate corrections. Take care, Nancy Lee
