Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a Nancy Ward descendant and am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution thru her. I also have supplementals thru Jacob Goodman and William Oakley (Yokley). I have been doing genealogy since 1999 and have found it to be very rewarding. Lots of new 'family' and friends.

This is how it got confused:) Sanford's wife was Elizabeth Hardy Goodmon. (Sanford's first wife was a Martha but not Martha goodmon).

George Washington Goodmon - LuAnna Goodman/Goodmon (Yokley or Oakley)
I am wanting any information on this branch of the family that is available. i.e. correct spelling, etc.

My great, great grandfather, (Sanford Spurgeon (not Santford)) married their daughter (Martha). LouAnna is buried next to them at Montana cemetery. (Montana, KS).

Anyway, my family didn't realize until recently that Martha was our ancestor; we thought that it was his first wife who died shortly after childbirth.

Any information about the family is greatly appreciated.

Cullen family
I see you have Cullen's in your family as does my wife.
Her great grandfather was Hezekiah D Cullen 1873-1967 and his parents were James Kiser Cullen 1835-1907 and his wife Christina Harshbarger 1835-1910.
Do these names ring a bell????

You left a flower for Leroy, # 18625022. In case this is a family member or friend of the family, I wanted to let you know that I have added a photo for him.

RE: McGuire's
Oscar McGuire was my great-great grandfather. Sunrise Cemetery is full of McGuire's, a lot of which I have had a hard time placing in my family tree, but I will one day get it figured out. Thanks.
