I was born in Campbell Co. Tn. & raised mainly in Anderson Co. Tn. I am a direct descendant of Col. Stephen Copeland of Overton Co. Tn. I love the genealogy hunt. & I love the way Find-A-Grave is set up. By adding memorials to this site I feel we are helping our descendants to see & know where they came from..
My Main Surnames are:
Copeland, Buck, Dunn, Hull, Jones,
Lawhorn, Looper, Loveday, Lowhorn, McCloud, Tompkins, Walker, White
I have created several memorials for people who are not related to me. When I visit a cemetery I take as many photos as I can. If any of these happen to be your kin, I will be glad to transfer them to your care. I love the way that Find-A-Grave allows us to link our ancestors. I think memorials should be in the care of the family members that can link them.

Well, you can always hope. I'd be happy if a close relative would want to take care of each of the memorials I've created and/or added an obituary to - that'd make my day, so none of these folks are forgotten.

I was curious if you would have any idea where Lavina Pierce Lawhorn is buried...mother of McKager Micajah Lawhorn. She last shows up in 1860 clinton county,ky! I read somewhere's This is the year she passed away but iam not so sure!
Lavina is sister to my GGGrandmother Susannah Pierce Wright

| Dunaway's Chapel/Mt. Vernon Methodist
I noticed when I was looking at online records from the Oak Ridge Public Library that Dunaway's Chapel is also known as Mt. Vernon Methodist--I almost added it as a new cemetery. Hi Bob. I thought you might want to know that Kingtown Cemetery is in McCreary Co., KY, not Scott Co., TN. I have been there numerous times as I have relatives buried there. Also, there is already a KY listing for this cemetery with 215 interments already recorded.
