I got my father hooked on genealogy when I was in my teens. Travel destinations usually involve genealogy. Goodenow Family Association charter member. Interested in the Goodnow name in all spellings including Goodenough, Goodno, Goodeno, Goodnough, Goodnuff, etc. And the Banvard name too!
Most of the photos here are not relatives, because I enjoy helping others. Am more than willing to transfer your relative to those wanting to claim them.

Hello Please be advised you have opened a memorial that is already opened James Hamilton 5409861. If you could please close your account on James Hamilton #36540916 it would be helpful so that we do not have duplicates thank you in advance

RE: Surname identified
Thank you for your message. Actually, I've now sent an edit to the original memorial on Ada, providing info on Ada's full name. Since my memorial for Ada was a duplicate, it's been deleted. I am glad you were able to find out where she was buried. That's what's so great about Find A Grave.

this would have been my GG Grand Mother. I have scaned the photo that is on her memorial. Not great but its what I have and would be happy to share. I did not know any of my grand-parents only a couple of their childern ( my Aunts ) and have never had any contact with the Goodenows. there are a few that still live in the Cranesville, Pa. area. Give me an e-mail address and I would be glad to forwarded the scaned copy I have.

My mom's uncle was also killed in the Farmington explosion in 1968. I have a picture of that monument and will post that as well.
