I've been working on my family's genealogy for about 10 years, and it's very enjoyable; actually, it's addictive! We even held a first Family Reunion for one branch of the family--not an easy thing to do, but VERY worthwhile. I love doing research and visiting cemeteries, and hopefully helping others find their loved ones' graves and memorials, as Find-A-Grave members have helped me find mine. This is such a wonderful website!
RE: Lulu Myers The only headstone in the cemetery for Lulu is the one pictured. It seems too much of a coincidence that two baby girls were born on the same day, with the same name, in a town as small as Bronson. Perhaps the biographical information posted is incorrect?
Location of cemetery Hello, I tried to find the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery on Google maps but couldn't come up with a site. Can you tell me where it is located and who might hold the cemetery records? I am researching my ancestors (whom you have photographed very helpfully) the Neels (John, Jerusha, etc.). Thank you! --TPetrie
Isabell Bartine If you are related to this lady, you may be interested to know her name appears in the cemetery book as "Isabell E. Cart Bartine". There is no other Bartine listed in the book. Searching the book for Cart*** surnames, I learned Isabell is buried beside John Carter. I do not know the family so if you are related and would like to manage the memorial(s), I will transfer to you.
