Bio and Links
Bio Photo I first discovered Find A Grave around 2001 by accident when I was trying to find the cemetery where Louisa May Alcott is buried, and Iíve been hooked ever since. Iíve been a graveyard explorer since I was little and used to spend a lot of time at a graveyard near where we live. I have also been a huge history buff most of my life, I blame my Mom, and would love to one day work in a historical field.

I had decided before I signed up that I would do out of guideline transfers. This idea was cemented after receiving out of guideline transfers from so many generous people. The only memorials that Iím sticky about are memorials for family and people I have known.

I really like Find A Graveís new way of sending edits to people, it makes things simpler. My only issue with it is that you donít get an email when you get sent an edit. So, if you send me an edit this way and want it made quickly, or itís been a while, then leave me a message so I will get an email notice. Things sometimes come up, and Iím unable to come on here for a while, and I donít know that I have edits.

You are free to use my pictures; I just ask that you donít use them on Ancestry. I donít care for Ancestryís picture policy, and donít like that you have to pay to see your own pictures. I would like my pictures to be free for anyone to see.

A Family Mystery

One family mystery that we have is that of my 3rd great-grandmaís nephew, Cash Sutton. The only picture we have of him says on the back that he disappeared in 1926 and was never heard from again. I have tried looking for him many times and have only found two census records he was in. If anyone knows anything more please leave me a message or send me an edit for his memorial. Link

Names That Iím Researching Are . . .

Erwin, Sewell, Collom, Hawkins, Callaway, Van Deventer, Hesler, Minnick, Ludlow, Boord, Allen, Schoonover, Bramblett, Arnold and several others.

Happy to add the article. I saw it on tv. What a great story. We do many military memorials. My father was a Marine. My brother served in Vietnam. Please leave a flower on any of my memorials to honor them. Thanks linda

RE: Memorial #101492677 SHELTON
Greetings, Sorry - haste makes... hope the 2nd memorial person will move the photos over.
Jack is married to a very distant cousin of mine in the MECHLING family, so no close relationship. We're assembling deseased family since our last family reunion in 2012, for memorial service (Aug 1-3, New Stanton PA). Jack & wife attended most of our past gatherings, so I met and chatted w/him several times.
Thank you for your response. I'll try soon to get a note off to the other memorial w/the photos.

Pictures etc.
I know what you mean about the "claiming rights" to something. I guess I just bungle along with my pictures and stories. I have my private so at least the world doen't put my inadvertent mistakes out for all to criticize. I would love an adult picture of Aunt Ned for my SmithofKentucky. If you correspond with me throug email we might share more. BSL
