I have been researching my family's lineage for the last couple of years and loving every minute of it. Every time I find something new to add to my family tree, it only makes me want to find more. I also enjoy helping others find information that will bring their family member's past to light. |
In locating my loved ones final resting place, I always take a photo of the headstone and add it to my records along with the cemetery name and location of the stone or lack there of. It makes me sad to know that a lot of my family have been buried and have no stone to leave as a reminder of their time here on earth. If I were rich, I would purchase a marker for them all. But for now I will just help others find their loved ones and continue to look for my own.
These are the surnames I am researching:
Pickett, Riley, Kidwell, England, Wayman, McGuire, Neal, Sparks, Keel, Hunt, Dawson and Billingsley.
I will gladly transfer any memorials that I have created that are not related to me. Photos that I have taken can be used on other sites but it would be nice to have acknowledgment for them.

|Mike Nolan||RE: Frank Berte|
I just added his Death Certificate to his memorial. It's interesting to note that his wife indicates his birth was November 13, 1856, but his tombstone is marked as 1857.

Forgot to say that his Memorial # is 79603908 and that he is buried in Section 6, Lot 310 of Mother of God Cemetery.

I was just wondering around the graveyard one day trying to help someone find their ancestors and took a photo of Frank's grave and checked out his death record. He died on October 26, 1921 in Kenton County, Ky. His Death Certificate # is 45-22168.

Thank you so much for adding the stone pictures for me. I appreciate your help.
|Margaret Lynn||Sally Banks Pendleton|
Thank you for this entry. Sally is my third great grandmother, and I'm happy to know where she is buried. My mother was Shanks, granddaughter of Nancy Flournoy and Doc Micajah Pendleton. Are you related to Carter and Rachael Keel? If so, I guess we're cousins. I'm just getting into this research, and have had a hard time tracking Sally down. Thanks again.
