|One Final Gift|
Scatter me not to restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by....
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times....
The family ties we shared
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see....
A single lasting proof that says
I loved....and you loved me.
by D. J. Kramer
Find A Grave volunteers have connected me
to family, and I count it a privilege
to help others connect with family or friends.
It saddens me when there is no headstone
or it's broken and illegible. I guess that's why I like the poem....everyone needs to be remembered.

It actually is very helpful. This way people can see there is no marker and not wonder about it in the future. Great job!

Thank you for your time and locating the burial location of Russ and Russell. Thank you for your photo. There is a note on their bio that they do not have markers.

Thank you very much for the marker photos.
I see you found son, Gregory and made a memorial for him.
Thank you for going above and beyond for the McArthur's.

Can you send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org? I talked to one of my cousin's down in WV and he wanted me to call his dad for info. Being that he was born in 1885 there might not be a recorded birth certificate for him. I'm not sure when West Virginia started recording birth and death records. If I'm able to talk to my cousin over the phone I can probably give you his phone number if it's ok with him.
