Life-long, third-generation Washingtonian. |
I generally take and post 3 photos of a headstone or plaque, but sometimes another if there is something that may be of interest nearby. Don't hesitate to ask that I delete a photo that I've posted, if there are too many. Also, please let me know if you want/need the original photo files (full resolution) sent to you, as well as posted (resized) here.
More than happy for you to let me know if you ever want new photos taken and posted (such as during different times of the year), or want different views than what I've taken.
Please notify me prior to copying my photos to any other site. It's usually fine with me, but I like to know where they will appear, as these photos are copyrighted.

Thanks for checking on the marker status for Charles. I know the wheels turn slowly, but glaciers are faster. I will check back in the spring.
Thank you so much

Thank you so much for taking this photo. I would like to add this to my family tree with your name attached if that is alright with you.
My grandson (10 yrs old) became very interested in the military because of the veteran parts of the cemeteries we visit. He especially likes Gettysburg. Abe has always been his favorite ever since he visited the Lincoln memorial at 4 years old and told his mother how beautiful it was.
We then found through our family tree that we had a relative that went to a brunch the day of his address and then she sat on the steps of the platform.
Again, thank you so much for all you do.

Thank you so much for the fine photographs. I apologize for the delay in expressing my gratitude, but I just came home from an extended stay at the hospital and saw the notifications. I want you to know how much I appreciate your efforts. Again, thank you!

Hello, Thanks so much for the BEAUTIFUL pictures you took of Victor and Alice's graves. The trees were so pretty in the background and I liked the way you took the pictures from different angles. I really appreciate the time you took. Sandy Lyle Rakestraw
