I was bitten by the genealogy bug in 2000. Researching the Casey, Clabeaux, Gottschalk,Grabenstatter, Humbert, Krawczyk, Paradowski and Wachowski families. Remember those who have passed on before us with a prayer.|

Thanks so much for accepting the edits for Edwin and Adella! I'm trying to get this family connected to an ancestor, and really appreciate your help - both in doing the links and in posting these memorials in the first place.
Thank you for your work on find-a-grave!

If you get back to the Plato Cemetery in Ellicottville, can you please take a picture of the metal marker on the grave of Della Bly Wiese #54884529. Thank you so much!

No, I don't have any specific info about Jennie Cook Heckathorn's parents. I'm a distant cousin of her husband, Nicholas, and am researching the Heckathorn family. Sorry I can't help in your research.

The Gottschalks cross my line, too so I am working thru as much of the family in Buffalo as I can.
Anna's birthplace is listed as Mecklenburg on both the 1870 and 1880 census records. Both Sophia and Wilhelmine (Minnie) were also born in Mecklenburg and the immigration record states Mecklenburg as place of origin. The town of residence is listed as Koplin - this is likely the village they were born in.
Anna had 9 children, 4 arrived with her and William Nov 18, 1856; Maria, Sophia, Johanna and Minnie. By 1900, only 3 are living. Assuming 5 died in Germany (since they weren't with her coming to the US), and both Sophia and Minnie lived beyond 1900, I am guessing that either Maria or Johanna died before 1900 in Buffalo or the surrounding area-I am working on that now.
Hope that helps!

my mistake, Elizabeth Jane (Betsy) was his granddaughter, her father was his son Austin.

Donna, Isaac and Patience Chandler are my great great great great great grandparents, I have a document written by their daughter Elizabeth Chandler Turner Tunison that gives their birth and death dates that I entered in the edit blocks. The photo of their grave markers looks like their is an inscription carved on the lower portion. Is there any chance you could get a close up photo of it so I could read it? Thank you in advance.
