Thank you for changing the name to match the stone. Take a look at the Forums (titled Duplicate Memorial) and see a lengthy discussion of actual whereabouts of moved cremains and the stone, plus possible merger or deletion of one of the cemeteries. Complicated. So you may be hearing more.
Just reach out if you need someone to help during the transition period. Thank you for all you do!

I am not sure if I have the right person but I think I met you a few weeks back at Quantico Cemetery. Are you still looking for someone to take photos for you since you are departing the area?

|email@example.com||Vernell J Lewis|
According to Ancestry.com, my husband's aunt is buried here. However, according to the US Social Security Applications and Claims Index 1936-2007, her date of birth was 21 January 1929, (the grave marker lists it as 21 January 1930). Ancestry.com lists another Vernell Lewis as being born 21 January 1930 who is black, but my husband's aunt was white. We do not know much about his aunt, so it's hard to confirm who is actually buried here. Lillian Houston took pictures of each individual grave marker, but the email listed with the photos does not work, so I have not been able to contact her. I can't tell you exactly where the grave is located in the cemetery, but the link with the photo is here (her grave marker is #27 in the row of pictures): http://duplin.lostsoulsgenealogy.com/cemetery/devotionalgardenscempics37.htm
My question is whether that is a double grave and if so, what is the name on the companion side of the grave marker of Vernell J Lewis? Would someone please take a picture of the companion side of the grave marker? I'm hoping this may help with the identification of which Vernell Lewis is actually buried here. Thanks.
|Leslie Quiroz||Elaine Hicks|
Thank you so much for transferring Elaine Hicks' memorial to me. She was my maternal grandmother. She and my mother were estranged, so I never got to meet her. It means a lot to be able to do this little bit for her now when I couldn't do anything during her life.

I am searching for the next of kin of William D. Livingston. Born 5/9/1936. Died 2/9/2009.
He was married to Myriam Vildoza Fredericksen in Arlington VA on 8/5/1975.
I am a private investigator working on an unclaimed property case. There is money in the Florida Unclaimed property for the heirs of William D. Livingston.
If you have any information please contact me.

I searched for this profile on this site and I did another in the cemetery only. Nothing came up now magically there is one. Could this person have had the some wrong information and corrected them after I created them?

As with any others, I thank you for your work on Find A Grave listings. My son, James Sherwood Phillips, should have his nickname of "Jay" in quotation marks. I did a submit for this under the Edit section. I have used so many of your postings in my genealogy research.

Thank you, John, for posting this memorial. I actually noticed it a little while ago but in the midst of other research, neglected to express my gratitude. Bob was my children's great grandfather and I have never known-or even known of-a better one. I owe him a lot. He made a huge difference in the early lives of his grandsons. Thank you for the pictures you take and the memorials you create. Cheers.
