I am a native Texan, born and reared in Northeast Texas. I have been researching my families for about thirty years, making me the family historian.
I have spent weeks, days, and hours in many states researching the courthouses and walking the cemeteries looking for my family.
Just recently I began placing memorials to my family members on findagrave; a wonderful website. The majority of my postings are my family.
I try to acquire photographs of my relatives; this makes me feel as if I actually know them.
I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and genealogy is my passion.

The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
