|My wife and I have been doing genealogy research on both of our families since we retired in 1990. |
My lines include (McKay, Cobb, Long, Matney, George, Benefield, Latch). All of my family lines were in the U.S. as far back as I can trace (early 1700's). My sirname migrated from VA to OK via TN, GA, AL, and AR. On my mothers side they migrated from OH to OK via IL and MO.
My wife's lines include:(Skaggs, Gilreath). Her family migrated from KY, SC, and GA to OK. We are willing to share any information we have.
We also take cemetery photos of our family stones as well as for tombstones for cemeteries in our area.

I agree with you on the "note". Thanks and keep entering on Find A Grave.

Mr. McKay - You may wish to delete Ruth Cuny's memorial at Hempstead Cemetery, Hempstead, Waller Co., Texas. On April 3, 2014, she and her husband , Thomas Bacon Cuny, Jr., were reinterred at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, DC. Her Arlington Find A Grave # is 127710526 and Mr. Cuny's is 127710414. Thanks for your work.

I'm not related. I was updating Amos Mitchell's memorial and it shows his father is Collie Mitchell so I thought I would update Collie as well. I won't send any edits for Collie since we don't know for sure.
Thanks for your input.

I have a question about Mr. Mitchell. His death certificate says he's buried in the
Houston Cemetery also known as: Hempstead African American Cemetery.
Does your note on his memorial mean that the death certificate is wrong? I don't want to send an edit request if it's wrong.

I, for one, am glad you did it. It is important that we get the data down digitally so the information is not lost.
Would it be better if after the photos were taken, we washed it off right away?
In any case, THANK YOU. - Carolyn

Thank you for the photos of Caroline Kirby and her son Henry Eldred Kirby in Old Salem Cemetery, located in Howth in Waller County, Texas. What did you use to make them so readable?
Kind regards, Carolyn Davis

So the closest relative you share with my grandfather is your great great great grandfather. Please follow the Rules established by Find A Grave and transfer my grandparents and great grandparents as I have requested. Thank you.

Since you will not transfer my direct relatives to me, can you please tell me how you are related to my grandparents and great-grandparents. I appreciate that you finally transferred my father to me.

Thank you so very much for transferring her to me.

Will you please add Powell's last name of Cuny. His full name is John Powell Cuny, son of Gen. Philip Minor Cuny and Eliza Ware Cuny. This is a person many researchers are hunting and we knew he was somewhere in Waller County cemeteries. Luckily I found him by accident in Bernardo Cemetery. His number is 65273450. Thanks.
