I have lived in south-central Indiana all of my life and I have been living in Bloomington since the Fall of 1982.|
In 2004, I started wandering cemeteries locating veterans who died while in service to our country. I have quite an extensive collection of photographs and bios. In 2013 I started extensively photographing the gravestones at Clear Creek Cemetery in Monroe County, Indiana.
I find that cemeteries are fascinating, peaceful and contain a wealth of history if people will only take the time to look and wander.
My hobbies include reading, photography, spending time with family & friends, watching Indianapolis Colts football & IU men's basketball, and wandering through cemeteries.
I pride myself as a photo volunteer of taking the best photo(s) that I can for the requester. I have been enjoying photography since I bought my first 35mm film camera in 1978. I have been shooting all digital for several years now.
If I have added a family member of yours and you would like for me to transfer the memorial to you, let me know and I will gladly do that.

Jim, A lot of the Ridge graves at Clear Creek are part of our family that goes back over 125 years in Sanders, Monroe County. We are in the process now of restoring old family graves in the County (Lucas Cemetery). We would like you to transfer Katherine Ridge memorial over to us so we can start to update her memorial.
Again, thank you for the work you have done on her memorial page.

Thank you so much for the transfers! It's difficult to find people willing to share their work, but it makes us appreciate contributors like you who share so willingly. THANK YOU! I know you put a lot of time and effort into your work. It is a selfless act, but one that is sincerely appreciated. Take care.
I want to thank you for the time and work dedicated to creating and maintaining the memorials. I truly appreciate your transferring my family members memorials.
I wish you the best of luck in all of your searches.

Thanks for creating the memorials for Thomas E. and Lucinda Lucettie Mitchum Madden, I sure appreciate it and the obituaries that you posted were wonderful to find.
Thomas ( His name was originally Edmond Thomas) was my great uncle and it is great to obtain so much info on him. You have done much to help others in their research by creating these memorials! You may transfer the memorials on Thomas and Lucinda "Lucettie" to me if you wish. Did you take a photo on Isabell Madden who died in 1926 and was buried at Clear Creek? She was Thomas' third wife.
Thanks for finding the grave of my Aunt Lizzie's father and sending me the link. You do wonderful work!

Many thanks for your recent photos to my memorials. They are as usual- superb!
Is pleasant Grove Cemetery in the Crane Weapons base? In the past Find A Grave used to have maps on the cemetery home pages but I have not seen any in a year or two.

WOW! Thank you for the photographs of my relatives grave sites in Wards Chapel. Thank you for Amanda Cox, William Cox, E. W. Johnson, Hattie Johnson, Hazel Sipes, Elmer and Elsie Johnson, and their young son Burley Dean. Your photographs are excellent quality and perspective.
The stones look so new as if they have been replaced.
I would love to see the cemeteries. I did two very brief trips to Indian Springs and Cale area. I live 2000miles away but maybe next year I can plan a trip to be there on Memorial Day. Are all of the cemeteries open? Do they drive you around with an escort?
May I use your photographs in my Reunion program?~rp
