Liberty #2 is actually the first Liberty Cemetery. The name was already in use on the site so I had to go with it.
If you go towards Macville from the current Liberty Cem., it's about 1/4 mile on the right, in the curve. There is a house there (old Zink farm)and a driveway (right side of house), going back into a field.
The cemetery was on the right, in the flat area. It was destroyed many years ago, stones pushed over the hill and covered up. Sometime in the early 1960's--I was told--a group got permission and went back to try to check for graves and crawled down the hillside looking for stones. None could be found as trees had over
grown the holler for many years.
Cattle and pigs had been on pasture in this area for many years.
So sad, we have lost all traces of the stones of our ancestors. I have asked anyone that has a list or even a single listing of a burial
there to share. So far haven't heard from anyone.
Would love to be able to put them on Find A Grave so they won't be forgotten and people will know that even with the stones gone, that is their resting
Hope this helps you, wish that it was still there for us all to visit!

You're welcome - though I'm not sure you expected only the temporary marker. If a permanent stone gets placed and I become aware of it, I'd be happy to get a shot of that.
