I have enjoyed Find A Grave for only a short time and have located several thousand of my friends and relatives on here. Thank you to all of the wonderful people who took the time to create memorials and update them. |
Thank you to all of the wonderful people out there who really care about them being memorials and not a possession.

I had walked through the cemetery several times and if they are there, there are no markers.
I contacted the clerk Patricia for this cemetery and this was her answer to me.
"I don't have any Bailey's at all in either of our cemeteries. Contact the Barron Co. Historical society they have most of the cemeteries in the county recorded. Let me know if I can help you with others."
I am going to the BCHS on Friday and see what I can find out..they are only there a couple days a week.
I will let you know what I find..

Robert, do you know what become of their daughter, Juanita Shaw that first married Thomas Franklin Boyer. I know they had two sons, one still living and one killed in Viet Nam. Mem. #114414557. They are related to me through my husband but were neighbors many moons ago. I was very young but I still remember how beautiful Juanita was. Her husband, Tom Boyer Mem #114415496 was killed in mine explosion in WF. Such a nice family! Kaye Harkins McClintock #47734417

I see you have the middle name listed as Milicent. Where did you get this info?
The family always called her Millie and no one remembers her being called Milicent. She was my husband's grandmother.
Sincerely Jean Hastings

Some friendly feedback for you........
In researching my Valentine ancestors this morning, I found your F-A-G memorial to Jonathan Bailey. It looks like you've entered his wife's death date of 5/15/1876 instead of the date indicated on the photograph of his grave marker (8/10/1890).
You may be interested to know that Jonathan & Mary's daughter, Millicent, was married to George Washington Valentine (in 1883) before she married his younger brother, Aaron (in 1890). According to family accounts (that I have no way to confirm), that led to an estrangement between the two brothers.
