Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, I'm Jonathan and I'm the webmaster for the Prentiss County Genealogical and Historical Society in Booneville, MS. I began researching my family's history at age 19 after my grandfather, Clingmin Hicks, passed away. My favorite part of research has always been visiting cemeteries and I thought a website such as this must exist, and sure enough, here it is.

I'm not related to everyone I memorialize on here so if you are please contact me and I'll transfer your relative right over unless it's a direct and closely related ancestor of mine.

I made a lot of my memorials on here before January 2007 and before the website supported linking relatives. I would be glad to link relatives together if you would like.

Thank you!

RE: John F. Thompson Jr
Hi Jonathan. Yes, I understand you cannot link John and his wife. I was just wondering if you still have the photo you posted on John's memorial (85708744). If you do, could you also post the photo on his wife Harriet's memorial (85709652). No, I'm not related to these Thompsons. I'm related to the Isaac McKee Thompson line from Kemper County. Thanks!

Thank you so much, Jonathan, for the transfer.

I was hoping that if you ever get back to the cemetery you could get a rubbing or transcribe it. I understand that you are probably moving on the the next cemetery, though.

I appreciate all your work!

RE: Cicero Farrar-Oak Grove Cemetery
Thank you for your kind note and your trip out to the cemetery looking for Cicero's stone. I will make a note of it on his memorial. Thank you for all of your kindness.

If you get the opportunity can you transcribe her headstone for me?

Thank you in advance,

This is my grand uncle Dr. Shelby Greene's wife. Thank you so much for creating the memorial. I have been looking for her for years!

May I use the picture posted?

I would be happy to take a transfer if you would like.

Thank you in advance,

John F. Thompson Jr
Hi. You've posted a photo on the memorial of John F. Thompson Jr. (#85708744). Would you mind adding it to the memorial of Harriet Thompson (#85709652) who is on the same marker. Thanks very much.

Cicero Farrar-Oak Grove Cemetery
Thank you, Jonathan, for all of your efforts on this site. I have a photo request for Cicero Farrar in Oak Grove cem. that I am hopeful you can accept at your convenience. It has been open for a very long time. If you can suggest links for the Farrars buried in that cem, through new Edit featuire, that would sure be very helpful. We Farrars are trying hard to get the memorials developed. One close up photo of the stone for the memorial, please. thanks for your helpful cooperation, at your convenience, if you are able.

RE: Find A Grave Correction: J White

It's actually an 'I' on her headstone, not a 'J', but it sure does look like a 'J'. Remove the 'J' from her name because it creates confusion.

You and I have been in contact many times. I just have to take a break when our work starts getting heavy around the first of April, and then we're really busy until the first of January each year.
This is my 'down time', so I'm back to working on my obsession.

I remember that you were not convinced about your ancestors in the New Hope Cemetery, and the last time we emailed each other, you were going to take a computer test. Did you do well on the test?

I added Isabella's parents names on her suggestion edit tab to make it as easy on you as possible.

Good to hear from you,
