Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been into genealogy and walking cemeteries since 2006. One side of my family comes from southern Iowa/Northern Missouri (Wayne County and Mercer County) via Pennsylvania (Hempfield, West Moorland). The other side from Norway to Bode in Humboldt County, Iowa. Those Norwegians are hard to figure out! I also have roots in Greene County and scattered around the state. I would be happy to go to any cemeteries in central Iowa when time permits, just let me know where and who I am looking for and I will get there as soon as I can. I am also willing to look up information needed on a person at the local libraries when I go. I keep a list of requests and will be happy to add more.

If I have added a memorial for your family and that person is not in mine, I am willing to transfer.

Tokheim main stone
Thanks for adding the picture of the Jorgen and Anna Tokheim main headstone! I had wondered if they also had a stone with their last name on it.

Incorrect Grave Photo
Hello Betsy, Please remove the marker photo of Memorial# 129925337 as that is his father's grave.

Oscar E Schoonover is the son of Oscar A Schoonover.

Maybe someone can post a photo of Oscar E. Schoonover marker.

RE: John Stark

Just got confirmation that John Stark is indeed buried in Belmond Cemetery. One of my classmates called his widow in North Dakota. His widows parents are buried in Belmond. It is a family plot, so that may be why John does not show up on the cemetery records. His widows maiden name is Boller. I see three Bollers in Belmond in FindAGrave, but no plot numbers are listed.

Hope this helps,

Jim Krahulec

RE: Emmett and Florence Conlon
Thanks Betsy
Another Picture in the summer won't be necessary the one you took is beautiful with the snow on the ground.
I made the necessary edits for their Names and Dates and linked them together.
I did notice that there were two other Conlon's (Lenore and Milford) in Evergreen Cemetery. They must be related but I haven't found them yet in my research.
Regards John

Hi Betsy
Thank you so much for the photo of Emmett and Florence's Headstone. Is ok with you if I use your photo for my Family tree? I always ask before I copy the Photo.
Thank you again for your time and dedication to Find A Grave.
