Bio Photo My hobby is genealogy. I enjoy walking the cemeteries and taking photos of stones and to help others see their ancestors and loved ones stones.
I would be happy to transfer, to your care, any of my non-family memorials to anyone who finds that I have entered one of their ancestors/relatives.

RE: Johnny Milroy Barker
A really puzzling entry. I know Forest City has a fine file collection of cemetery records in their genealogy museum but not sure it goes back to 1870. If you saw the photo of the gravestone, you can see why I had the question about his name. Barker is not mentioned. Perhaps Barker was a relative who bought the lot and it got confused but will need more research. Thanks for the reply.

S. A. Hauge Gravesite
I guess that he didn't get a stone despite his wife's massive one #92878257. Thanks for trying.

Hi again, Sandy!
Have yu received my email that I sent you earlier today? I did receive your emails, all of them, I just cannot seem to send anything out!

I have someone who is going to get my email problem resolved tomorrow morning, so please don't give up on me, ok? I am soo very very grateful for all the information that you have sent to me in the last couple of days!! I really do have the genealogy bug..... it bit me hard and I cannot seem to let go of it. But that is all right, it keeps me out of mischief and doing something for someone else.

I will hopefully be able to send emails by the end of the day on Thursday!

Thanks again for all you do, girl!

Hi Sandy!! I have been hoping to hear from you! When I sent you my email to answer your question, it came back to me as not being able to send? I don't seem to have any problem receiving your emails but I cannot send them.

The information I have for you is Peter Weins married Rachel Asleson, he odopted her two girls and they had 2 sons together. I have a listing for her parents a listing of Olaf T. Asleson and mother as Olive Asleson, but that could be a relative? Her and Peter are listed in the 1930 census as boarders with Olaf Asleson...

I wish that my email could send ! I don't know what the problem is. Anyway, I will call my provider today and find out what the problem is.

Once again, I am soooo grateful to you for helping me with my ancestors.
Sincerey yours
Vikki(Weins) Carter

Weins Family
Hi Sandra, I tried to send an email to you earlier and apparently my email is not working as to sending; however, I am still able to receive.
I don't have the information that you said that you had for Peter L. Weins. I would very, very much appreciate it if you could send the information to me. I will look into my I cannot send any emails out later on tonight if at all possible.
It can be frustrating having to leave a public message for you, I am sure. Please know how very much I appreciate all that you are doing to help me with my genealogy lines!!! As I have said before, I feel as though someone is pushing me to get this work done for them.

Sincerely yours
Vikki C. (Weins)

RE: The Weins gravesites
Hi once again, Sandra!
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly on this matter. My grand uncle, Peter Lawrence Weins, was born in Iowa to the best that I have as far as my records go. He died on 04 Oct 1953 in Hennepin, Minnesota, USA. The gravesite that shows this is in Glenville, Freeborn County, Minnesota at the Round Prairie Cemetery. You had added this on this site on September 1, 2012, along with his two sons, Robert Weins and Donald Frederick Weins.
I do hope that this information helps you. I am still looking for more information on the lines that I told you about before. I am so very grateful for any information that you could send to me Sandra I have what they call the "genealogy bug" and I feel this pushing from somewhere to get their work done.
Anyway, thanks for all that you have done so far and I hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely yours,
Vikki C. (Weins)

The "Weins" gravesites
Hi Sandra,
I see that you have taken the time to find 3 gravesites that are in my family tree. Peter L. Weins is my grand uncle and the other 2 sites are of his children.

Would it be possible to find out any other information regarding the gravesites that you found?

I have been doing my genealogy for about 3 years now and the "Weins", "Smith", "Adams, and "Daum" side is on my father's side and I have not been able to get too far in their line.

Thank you for all the time you have taken in doing these gravesites as they are a valuable tool in searching for the right names to match the dates, etc.

I can be reached at " and my name is Vikki (Weins) C.

Thank you very much
