Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am 78 years old and working part-time as a bookeeper. I have been doing genealogy research on my husband's ancestors for over 10 years. We made several genealogy research trips and I've walked many cemeteries taking photos. They can all be found on my website. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mcapehart/index.html. I have created memorials and uploaded photos of all the cemeteries I have visited to FindaGrave. Now that I can no longer travel I have to depend on other people to take photos for me. Many thanks to everyone for your help!
For the past three year I have been doing photo projects in local cemeteries and have been a FindaGrave volunteer for over a year. I have a severe hearing impairment and am considered legally deaf and this is something I can do which doesn't involve communicating with people. I take shears and a whisk broom with me and trim around monuments to enable me to get the best possible photo. I record all information available to me on FindaGrave. I aways welcome corrections and updates. I will respond to them as quickly as possible and will let you know when a correction has been made or additional information has been added. I also notify creaters of memorial pages when I have additional information or a correction. I believe it takes all of us working together to make FindaGrave an effective tool for people researching their families.

RE: Abigail Brown
Zelda, your great-great grandfather Reuben Hallowell and my great-great grandfather John R. Brown both were Abigail Keziah Brown's grandfathers. Your grandfather Howard and my grandfather Charlie were Abigail's first cousins ... so that makes both of us Abigail's first cousins, twice removed. You and I are at the identical level of relationship, so you should retain the memorial.

RE: Abigail Brown
Zelda ... you may remember my parents Rex and Meta Brown. My Dad was the long-time treasurer of Cedar Creek Cemetery until he retired and Jean became a member of the Board of Trustees. As I recall Keith drove the school bus when I was in school. Henry J. Brown was the brother of my grandfather Phineas L. Brown. So my Grandpa Charlie Brown and Abigail Brown were first cousins.

RE: Photo for Jesse J Carl memorial
Thank you for the additional Carl family photos. This is an offshoot of my Shead family, husband and children of an aunt who died young. The husband remarried and these cousins were relocated and never reconnected, with grandparents, Sybel and Manson Shead in Tennessee. It's quite a delight to find their family connections. Thank you!
