THANKS FOR THE PHOTO ON DR HOLTZCLAW. DON'T KNOW WHY SOMEONE HAD NOT PUT A MEMORIAL UP BEFORE NOW. HIS FAMILY WAS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL 12 GERMAN FAMILIES IN AMERICA. THE COLONY WAS ORIGINALLY AT GERMANTOWN, FAUQUIER COUNTY, Virginia. THE GERMSNS THERE MDE THE FIRST PIG IRON IN AMERICA FOR THE GOVERNOR OF VS. IT IS NOW IN AMHERST, VA.
