Do you have a copy of the Joy Smith Sayles booklet by Louis Hatherly Carr and Eva Gladys (Joy) Carr?
There is mention of Fenners in it.

That is the stone that is at Swan Point.
The one for Lieut Peter Joy d. 1745 is at St. Ann's in Cranston.
I took a picture similar to the one on this memorial at St. Ann's.
If you think this is in error, please me know.

Check my latest update. I found 4 Fenners buried in Miller family plot. Only last name appears on stone.

Did not see this. I have several pieces of research done by a cousin that I will send you.

|George Stoughton||Jennie Denison Fenner info on ancestors|
I believe we have common ancestors, William and Esther Wilson Denison, the parents of Jennie Denison Fenner. My great-grandfather was Henry L. Denison, on of Jennie's brothers. My grandfather was Henry L's only child, Dana Bemiss Denison. My husband, George, and I have spent much time trying to determine William Denison's (1820-1871) parents' names. William Denison was born in Onondaga County, NY and his wife Esther L. Wilson Denison was born in Fabius, NY, Onondaga County. Censuses indicate that William Denison's parents were born in NY State. Wiliam's brother, Henry (not Henry L.) married William's wife's sister, Nancy A. Wilson. We are hoping that your family has researched the Denisons, not only the Fenners, so you might be able to help us. Thank you.
