Born in Springfield, MA in 1952, I had been in the retail business for 35 years managing at all levels, consulting and training in both sales and service. I have three children, 2 sons and a daughter ages 30, 33 and 36. My first grandchild was born December 1, 2010! Another generation to follow! |
On September 22, 2007, I married my second wife, Karen J (Thurber) Murphy. Karen is the widow of Wayne E Murphy (1952-2001/Memorial #37248763) and has 2 children, a son age 26 and a daughter age 23.

A quick note: To add an internal link in the biography, you would need to type

(I put this here because I use it frequently and am tired of digging for it in the FAQ.)

|Kay||RE: Rhoda Root|
Thanks for the reply and info. Glad to see it. I'm trying to find the burial location of Rhoda's mother, Ann Loomis (1710-1781), wife of John Root. Ann was the daughter of William Loomis #12459529 and Martha Morley #124595289.

Your welcome. Are you the same Dave who spoke to the SAR at the Ludlow, MA white church and helped me on my family tree at my home in Ludlow, MA ?
|Rebecca A. Benoit||RE: B Lavinia Bassett|
I'm sorry it me literally YEARS to respond! Are you still active? I would love to speak with you!
|James Gunn||RE: Captain John Gunn|
Thank you, Dave. Captain John Gunn is my 5th great grand uncle. His father, John, was my 6th great grandfather. My 7th great grandfather, Thomas, was probably a passenger on the Mary and John and arrived in Dorchester in May 1630. It's quite possible we are distant cousins. Just about everyone who has ancestors who arrived back that far are related at some point in the 10 generations since then.
I am not related to Boies family, so no transfers. Thanks for offering.
|George Harger||RE: Betsey Boies|
Thank you for changing last name to Boies. Could you please change first name to Betsey (adding the E)? The duplicate is managed by #8 (Find A Grave Admin) and they require EXACT match to the stone before merger is accepted.
|Stacey Hebert||Elizabeth Cole Matchett|
Thank u so very much.
|Stacey Hebert||Elizabeth Cole Matchett|
Could you possible transfer the memorial #86505041 Elizabeth Cole Matchett -- she is my 2x great grandmother. She was born in Ireland in 1848 to James Cole. She married James Matchett on 2 Sept 1868 in Tartaragha, Armagh, Ireland.
|George Harger||RE: Deacon Samuel Boies # 59529711|
Thanks for the offer of transfer, but I am not related to any of your memorials so far. I have a few more to move from Hill to Blandford Cemetery and I will send edits. Thank you.
|J. Bean||Sarah (Ashley) Ingersoll|
Several years ago you added a headstone for Sarah (Ashley) Ingersoll at Old Burying Ground Cemetery. Recently someone read the caption that you had added for the headstone and let me know that the headstone does not match the dates on my memorial, so I am afraid that it is the wrong headstone for my Sarah Ingersoll. Could you please remove the photo that you added. Maybe you could create a new memorial and add it to that one so that it will be available to other family members someday. I really appreciate that you took the time to look for Sarah, but sadly this is not the correct one for her. Thank you
