"When a society or civilization perishes,
one condition can always be found.
They forgot where they came from."
"And he shall turn the heart of the fathers
to the children, and the heart of the children
to their fathers..."
When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget, if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.
Then forget to grieve for my going;
I would not have you sad for a day.
In summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay.
And come in the shade of the evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west,
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best.

Thank you for all of the information you've provided for Benjamin's memorial. I have added it to the memorial.

Thanks for the info. I have added it to his memorial.
|Peter Morgan||Elliot Chase|
There was no marker for Elliot that I could find. There were two vacant plots in the same lot as his mother, so I snapped a photo of the spot next to her marker.

thank you :-)
|s schultz||Robert page|
Hi Lisa, per our research Robert Page is my 8th G Grandfather. I was wondering if you would allow me to use your picture in our family tree. We cite both the photographer and Find A Grave for pictures we haven't personally taken. I so appreciate your considering it. Thanks. S
|John Gillespie||Opotiki Cemetery|
I think it was you who added Opotiki cemetery to findagrave.
This cemetery is in the Bay of plenty at Opotiki not at Gisborne as it is listed
