Thanks for the transfer of my grandfather's memorial! I appreciate it.

Hi, I am so happy to have found my Uncle Bill's grave site! He was my father's oldest brother. I am very new to Find A Grave, but I would be happy to take over the maintenance of my uncle's page, if that is all right with you. I really appreciate the work you did to photograph his grave site. This website has been a godsend in locating family members and filling in gaps in our genealogy. My immediate family was military (my dad was a career Navy officer), so with all our moving around we missed out on close ties with many extended family members.
I believe I have some personal photos of Uncle Bill that I can scan and add, as well as his obituary. He was very well known in local baseball circles in the 1930's-1950's.
My Find A Grave # is 48464909.
Thank you so much for all you have done and continue to do on Find A Grave!

Hi. I notice that you have quite a few Winkles from Floyd County, Georgia listed, and I am wondering if you are related to them. I recently discovered that one of my grandmother's cousins, Fannie Robinson, was the wife of Abraham G. Winkle, and that they are buried at Armuchee Baptist Church. We are trying to do a family book and are looking for a photo of Fannie and Abraham. Any knowledge that you have would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking this photo at Pleasant Valley North Cemetary in Rome, Ga. I have been looking for William Joel Battle for 2 years. I now have something to put on his ancestry page.

Thank you so much for the pictures. I know the cemetery is old and many of the grave markers are hard to read or broken. I appreciate you taking the time to find these and get such great pictures.
