Have documented Twining Cemetery in Tolland, Mass. Connected many memorials to relatives in other cemeteries. About a dozen fallen & broken stone are being repaired in the cemetery. Twining memorials have been transferred to a descendant of Elijah Twining.

I like to resolve duplicate memorials, even though not my family. Also, while those memorials are being fixed, family connections are added where possible. If you are aware and don't have time to fix a duplicate, please contact me. I believe this effort has value to the site. There are a lot of duplicates!!

Have established a website for Twining Cemetery to facilitate what needs to be done to preserve some of the stones that need mending.

RE: Odd Memorial
Sorry just now getting online to deal with all they deleted my entry. Guess I need to retrace my steps and put it back.

Another glitch that happened during that same time is that pictures I was uploading to a particular cemetery were randomly placed all over Find A Grave. So I've had several people message me and say 'your picture is out of place on an unrelated page." So I have to go and delete it and make sure it was also put on the original correct place, it has been. I never know where these pictures will show up!!! All so far have been during June/July 2014. Fun Fun!

RE: Odd Memorial
Well that is a new glitch that I've never seen!! Wow. I have no idea or clue how that happened but when I can get on my computer I'll send in a email to edits@findagrave to fix whatever is the problem.

RE: Whitson
The double edit requests don't happen often, in my experience they seem to happen if you page back after you did say, the name edit instead of going forward and then into the edit tab again to make the next edit for the memorial.

In regards to the duplicate in the non-existent cemetery, I also had already sent that to admins to merge with the correct cemetery entry. Thanks again for your attention to the accuracy of the database.

best researcher,

Indeed there is a list of the war graves: see link

The graves are in the correct place and you also mentioned this.
But another researcher confuse the old cemetery with the new cemetery and then it becomes a mess.

I divide clearly old and new in order to avoid confusion.

Somehow your two submitted edits came through as three (one was a duplicate edit of the suggested birth date change). Unfortunately, the Illinois death index is incorrect on his birth date, so I did not make your suggested edit for birth date. As I had noted in the bio, the index entry for him is full of errors--it also says he was 174 years old, among other obvious errors. "Winston" cemetery does not exist, that is another error in the transcription of the death certificate (it actually says "Minton" but was simply transcribed wrong)--I see the duplicate someone else placed in that incorrect cemetery, I submitted Winston cemetery to be deleted/merged into the correct cemetery, where his headstone is located (my entry was primarily based on the headstone). Thanks for your attention to these memorials, I appreciate it.

Best questioner

your data is not accurate enough.
The old cemetery is not the same as the new cemetery.

with kind regards, Davy

Hi, Geroge. Thank you for sending her maiden name. I hope you meant HILL because that is what I put. You had said HLL. If Hill is not correct, please send me a note and I will fix it. Thanks again, Tommye

RE: Holly Hills Cemetery
I have already sent requests to the dupes that were in the dupe cemetery. May take a while, but I will get them cleaned up.
