Thanks for the update George, can you ask to have this contributor's Blandford memorials transferred to you? I had a similar issue in Northfield, and Find A Grave Transferred all of the inactive member's memorials in that cemetery to me (100+). I was able to edit/link/change everything and it was great. Jim

Hill Cemetery
I removed the Edward Knox photo from the 1819 memorial. I will re-photograph the whole place in spring/summer when the grass is green. These awful snowy photos are mainly to substantiate who is there, and who might not be on the transcript. Between you there in AZ and me 15 minutes from Blandford, we should be able to sort out the dupes/ceotaphs.

James Morton - Hill Cemetery
George, James Morton who d. Feb. 1, 1853 is buried Hill Cem. I have a photograph of his headstone, not likely a cenotaph.

I didn't go today, I had all I could handle with the 6 inches of snow I was trampling through at Hill Cemetery lol I pass BC all the time on my way up to Otis, Tolland and that area so as soon as the snow melts and we get a sunny day I'll probably be able to clear up a few questions you might have about who is buried where and who has a cenotaph.

Hill Cemetery - Blandford
Hey George, I decided to head up there this afternoon, the sun was so bright! It was tricky with all the snow and I almost froze but I wanted to find the Osborn(e) stone. I can tell you as someone who has taken 150K+ cemetery photos this past year and have been to more than 100 cemeteries that Hill easily has 2-300 people who are not memorialized as of yet. I took 150 photos this afternoon and just from those created 34. If the weather was better I could get a complete inventory taken in 2 hours but this snow makes that difficult. Are you local? Jim

Luke Osborn - Chester Factory
Hey George, his name appears on the bottom of the headstone, I have cropped that part as best as I can and added it. That cemetery is less than 20 minutes from my house I will go re-photograph with the proper sun/angle soon. I might as well run up to Blandford at the same time and photograph his there as well. I'll let you know when the images are up. Jim

Deacon Samuel Boies (1724-1804) - Blandford Cemetery
Great - if that is the case and when you get a moment, may I have the complete/exact transcription for this gentleman? I can make out hald the epitaph but it seems not to be derived from any other. Even the photo does not help. . . . my email is at the end of my profile.

Thanks, Philip in NYC

Blandford Cemetery - Hugh Hamilton & Samuel Crooks
I know you are working hard here. I accepted your two transcription edits which are the same and assuredly partial but wonder upon what information they were based (no photo for Hugh Hamilton or Samuel Crooks). For this reason, they are the only photo requests currently at the cemetery.

Thanks, Philip in NYC
