Have documented Twining Cemetery in Tolland, Mass. Connected many memorials to relatives in other cemeteries. Twining memorials have been transferred to a descendant of Elijah Twining.|
Working to link all 2050 Harger memorials, eliminate duplicates, resolve burial unknown. Women are hard to find when Maiden Name is not on memorial or stone.

Just so you know, I have no connections to this cemetery or town. I just happened to come across some gravestone listings from this cemetery, so entered in the ones not already there. If you want me to transfer any of them to you, just let me know.

Thank you so much for sending me the correct information. I live in California, and am not able to visit many of the cemeteries of my possible ancestors.
Much appreciation to you!
Thanks for the updates and your efforts to unsnarl widespread confusion. I have many direct descendants in all three you cite and others nearby too - and if directly related to one, nearly indirectly to all others. My familial surnames include Blair, Boies, Crooks, Gibbs, Hamilton - most all from Londonderry. The David Hamilton (1742-1817) dupe is vexing and I wish one or the other would delete so the remaining can be corrected and enhanced. Easier than merging. Until then. . . . .
Thanks for your efforts and clarifications.

I was about to "approve" your edits. However, the marker transcription should read "...that die in the Lord"
I wanted to make you aware that I'll make that edit after I click "OK."

I thought there had to be an easier way then making another memorial. Thanks so much George.

George, thanks for the update on Rhoda Smith who should be placed in Blandford Cemetery instead of Hill. Glad you are making it right but what a lot of work. I will message Beckie Cross who placed the picture of the stone so she can add it again and get the credit and she has the memorial for her husband and that will need to be changed and then relinked. I will get started on that today.
Let me know if there are any others.

Imagine that, I will go over them tonight, at work right now
I believe you requested 2 edits, both if which are completed. Although I don't know what a Flickr Album is, I'm sure it was originally an error on my part and hopefully all is properly corrected.
Are you related to these folks? If so, I'd be happy to transfer them to you.
|Jack Gilchrist||RE: Janet (Robertson) Campbell/Stewart|
Thanks for the input. I have updated my records for David and Janet Campbell to show them in the Blandford Cemetery.
I also updated my Find A Grave memorial for Janet to show the same. I put in a new Photo request and updated her name to Campbell/Stewart as some records suggest she married a second time after David died.
Good luck getting all the Find A Grave memorials updated to show the correct cemetery (Blandford NOT Hill). Not an easy task but we all want to get our history as accurate as possible and your efforts to accomplish this are most appreciated.
|Jack Gilchrist||RE: Janet (Robertson) Campbell|
Her husband David Campbell has a gravesite photo on his Find A Grave memorial taken by Beckie Cross. She has this photo posted on his memorial which she has placed in the Hill Cemetery.
Are you saying that this is a photo that was actually taken in the Blandford Cemetery?
I certainly hesitate to move his wife Janet from the Hill Cemetery where her husband David is currently documented as being buried (including photo).
But if you can explain the photo location issue then I will be happy to relocated her to the Blandord Cemetery down the street.
