|Being raised in a small town in southeast Kansas family and friends were a very important part of my life. When I was small I loved listening to my parents and grandparents talk of family. I loved meeting older family members and listening to the stories. Even though these people are gone now they are still very much a part of my life, they taught me to nurture and value family, they guided me to become the person I am today. |
My parents and grandparents were faithful in visiting cemeteries and remembering and honoring those that have passed. I guess I inherited that love. Therefore, I dedicate my work on Labette County cemeteries and family histories to my parents and grandparents. It is my hope that I can link families together and tell the stories of the pioneers who first came to the area.
NOTE: Any of the pictures that I have entered aren't bound by copyright infringement and can be used in your family trees. OUT OF "RESPECT" FOR THOSE OF US WHO SPEND HOURS AND HOURS AND TRAVEL MANY MILES TO TAKE THESE PICTURES, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD LET ME KNOW BEFORE YOU YOU POST A PICTURE I HAVE TAKEN ON THE INTERNET. ***ALSO: I would appreciate it if you would list your source when posting my photos to Ancestry.com or other on-line sites. If you have a question regarding a picture, please feel free to contact me.
I will also transfer a memorial to you if they are your family (with the exception of my direct family). Should you find an error or have additional information on any of the people I have posted, e-mail me. I am always glad to make additions and corrections so that the information is as accurate as possible. It may take me a few days to make a correction, so be patient!
But most of all, thank you to all of those who have posted information and photos on Find A Grave. This is a great resource tool for all of us.

I added 2 photos. The birth date can be updated. I don't know how to do it, but you could tie it to her husband Noah Hollingsworth

I noticed on your profile that we're to email you for any updates to the memorials, but I was wondering if that still applies since FindaGrave now has the "Edit" tab feature that you can just approve directly all edits?
Which would you prefer? I've done the edit tab, but can also compile an email to you if that would be easier for you. Just let me know.
Thanks for all your efforts!
|Ilene Murray||Frantz family in Labette, Kansas|
Martha Jane Buzan Frantz is memorial 76414909. She was not called Addie, however. She had a sister named Melissa Adda who carried that nickname. Melissa Adda and her husband are buried in Oklahoma. Martha Jane was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Buzan and Mary Ann Moss. T. J. is buried in Montgomery Co., Illinois. Probably Mary Ann is too, but so far I've been unable to find a death date or place for her.
Martha Jane's daughter, Josephine, is also at Elm Grove. She is Josephine Hill, memorial 76453198. You have her listed with an unknown maiden name, but it was Frantz.
Thanks so much for checking these things out and making adjustments.
