Sarah J Shupe Memorial# 18893936
I did some further research and it appears that Sarah's maiden name is King. She was married twice, her first husband was Robert Lee Quinley. They married 1891.They had a son Robert Ota Quinley. She then married Wilson J. Shupe in 1897. I updated both her and her husbands memorials.
Best regards,
Sharon

RE: Sarah J Shupe Memorial# 18893936
Thanks for the info. Since she is in my family tree, I'll do some digging to see if I can confirm this. Maybe she was married 2x & I have a possible married name, or the family researcher who gave me the name may have made an error. I would like to make both my tree & the memorial as correct as possible.
Regards,
Sharon

Sarah J Shupe Memorial# 18893936
Greetings, You recently sent me an update for Sarah, suggesting that her maiden name is Shappel. I have her in my Myers tree as Sarah King, but it has not been verified. Can you indicate your source? Is she part of your family? I would like to have the correct information. Since I cannot confirm Sarah's maiden name, I have not updated the memorial for the moment. Thanks,
Sharon

RE: Havensville Cemetery, Deaver, Ellen Ruth
No, I never lived in Iowa. I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, and now live in Fallbrook, California. My parents were the ones who did the family history searching; I helped type stuff up for a family reunion in 1977 and now I keep the info up to date and add to it as I find sources, etc., online.

As far as Lester is concerned, I searched for him on Ancestry.com after your previous post and what I gave you was what I found there.

If you knew Charles and Myrtle, you may have heard of Velma and Emil Freienmuth. Those were my parents, and Velma was a Shortridge. Her father and Myrtle's mother were brother and sister.

I found Thomas Lester Deaver in Ancestry.com. His family apparently moved to Washington state between 1930 and 1940 (I found his family in both censuses), and sometime later, he moved to California. He died in Mendocino, CA in 1983. Didn't see a burial place; just found this info right after I got your message.

I also am a KU fan; graduated there in 1960.

She is the sister of Charles Herbert Deaver, who married my cousin, Myrtle McCoy.
