Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife and I live about five miles outside Reading, Berks County, Pa. I try to visit most of the cemeteries in Reading and the southwest corner of Berks. I've also wandered into Eastern Lancaster and Lebanon county where some family members are buried. I've had an interest in geneaology since 2002. (probably longer, I just didn't know it yet.) Findagrave has not only peaked my interest in taking cemetery photos, but, also in discovering and walking cemeteries in this area that I never knew were there. Not only have I documented many of my ancestors, I have been taking as many photos as possible in the hopes of helping others find theirs. If you are a family member, I will gladly transfer your ancestor's memorial to you.
Future generations will want to know what happened to their ancestors, and Findagrave is the best way to document them.

Whose grave are you going to find today?

(Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers:

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Please include your member number for a transfer.
I will always make corrections and add links when asked. Thanks!!

John W. Emore
On you mention on find a grave you state that Mr. John W. Emore was born 1892 in fact he was born March 17, 1891,also he died January 5, 1960. I am his 4th great granddaughter, and I have his death certificate. His father was Isaac Emore and his spouse was Annie Weidemayer.

Thank you making this change.

RE: Memorial #76419609
Thank you for correcting the listing. FYI, there is an family tree that shows Catharine died in NY. I am finding a lot of wrong information on Ancestry as well as a lot of good info.

Memorial is for Catharine A. Bright Lengel. Curious how you got her place of death as Kings Co., NY. I have a copy of her death certificate which says she died in Reading (in the home of her daughter Beulah Yeager, who was my grandmother).

I was going to add some new graves to Gethsemane Cemetery in Berks Co., and ran a search of the name Gallagher to be sure I didn't duplicate and found that I already had made a duplicate of the above referenced grave for Alexander Gallagher. He is my 1st cousin twice removed (or the son of my great great aunt Mary E Kennedy). The one I have created was after the one you have, so there will be some choices to make.

I think I prefer to ask you to transfer this grave to me, so I can delete the one I made and then just continue to add the rest of my family that I have.

The other option would be if you did not want to transfer, then you could use the information from my memorial 135822768 to bring that one up to date.

My goal is just to get it down to one memorial and have the family all connected. I will leave it up to you. I really appreciate that you have put so much work into recording all these gravesites. It is also something that I enjoy doing, although I don't get to visit them, just add the data as I add it to my genealogy.

Thank you so very much.

Thank you very much for the photo of Deena's grave site. I have been wanting to see it for a long time. She and her husband were very good friends of mine.
