Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for over 40 years. I have started to take pictures of area cemeteries (Waukesha County area) and I am trying to submit them to various sites. I also take picture when I go on vacation to other parts of the USA and Europe.

If anyone needs a photo (which has not been re-sized) or has any corrections or additions please let me know.

Lately I have been getting many, many transfer requests without the needed information. If anyone requests a transfer, use the EDIT tab and the transfer request must contain the following information: Relationship; Parents, Siblings, Grandparents And Great Grandparents (which does not include Aunts/Uncles/Cousins) and your Find-A-Grave Contributor Number. A transfer cannot be done without the contributor number. It takes up too much time for me to search out the above information.

My sister, Lois has been helping with the corrections and additions and also looking for obituaries. My sister, Julie is also helping with taking pictures.

Lloyd Weber
Hi Lenora,

I noticed that you manage a memorial for a Lloyd Weber, # 77359095, and since your last name is/was Weber, I thought I would tell you about a postcard of a Lloyd Weber on eBay. You can see it here:

This Lloyd appears to be from Fond du Lac, not Mequon, but just in case, I thought I'd let you know.

I understand. What I don't understand is why I submitted that one. I know that the period should be there. What I have been doing is sending edits to move middle names/initials from the first name field to the middle name field. The person who created your memorial has quite a few in that condition.

Sorry for the extra work.

Have a good day,

Caroline Weber

I am researching my husband's 3GGF, Gottlieb Friedrich, for whom you created a F-A-G Memrial in 2011 (thank you!). I have recently been in contact with the historian guy at the Trinity United Church of Christ there in Brookfield, Bob Rohrig. He provided me with a nice transcript of the cemetery records regarding Gottlieb and his family. That transcript included a reference to a Johann and Caroline Friedrich Weber, so naturally the (Weber) in your name caught my eye. Are you related to Johann and, perhaps, to John C. Weber, about whom I received some correspondence dated June 14, 1977 from a May Kohler. It's all very complicated so, if any of this applies to you, I'd love to chat.

Lynn Ski - Mable Herman Etzel
Hi Lynn,

Mable was my grandmother's sister. She has passed on and I've lost contact with her only living son, David. I'd love to hear more about what you have found thus far.

Hi Lenora,
Not sure if you are related to them, but that's my great Grandparents. Their eldest daughter was named Lenora (3/1882) & I can't find ANYTHING on her after they arrived on 4/23/1883 in NY, then were in NE/ KS 3/1895. They ended up in Milwaukee and she's 18 on the 1900 census, but that's it?
Any help?
Thanks for your photos!

RE: Frederick Schwinn
Thank you very much for making the cenotaph note on Frederick's memorial. This should help to avoid confusion about his burial place.

RE: Absolom Grimes
Thanks, found it.
Note the first names are spelled differently, but all the dates match, and the cemeteries have the same name but are in different counties, which would mean more research is needed to know which location he is actually located.

RE: Absolom Grimes
Hello, and I can track that down again, but I don't have any way to see what I sent you. Can you send me back a cemetery name, and/or some birth/death dates so I can track back what I sent? Thanks so much and I will research again.

RE: DeGoey memorials
Yes that is correct, Charlotte great 1, William great 2.

There is so much paperwork, every little thing is on a different format or it is not there and I have to research it or walk the cemetery to gather information That is what I am doing gathering from a multitude of different places and collating it.
