I was born in Hillsdale, Michigan and taught school in the Flint area. I am now retired and live in the Mountains of North Georgia part of the year and sunny Florida the rest. I do make at least one trip to Michigan every year to do research.

|Dustin Austin||Josephine Phillips|
Put that last message on hold, please. I have found new information that is conflicting with the baptism record.
|Dustin Austin||Josephine Phillips Dupraw|
I have been working on the Phillips family and I think I have found an error with this memorial.
Josphine would be a granddaughter to Mary (Lirot) Phillips-Clinger. You have her as a daughter.
You see the Michael Phillips and Elizabeth Schwartenberger had a son Michael Phillips (Born. 1854) This Michael Born in 1854 would be the father of this Josephine.
I will attach her baptism record

It is the policy of The October Group to only make memorial transfers to family members, or those with close personal contacts to the deceased (i.e. "like family"). As you state that you are acting on behalf of family members, we believe that you do not meet this criteria.
However, if you will provide us with the information you would like included in these memorials, we will be happy to make the updates.

|Deborah Larsen||RE: Abner Lewis Lovejoy|
I'm not related to Abner, I'm just a local historian who is working to put as much information as I can into the memorials for Mount Avon Cemetery. I'm glad the information in Abner's memorial was helpful to you. To help you find the grave when you get to the cemetery, do this. Stand in the circle in front of the mausoleum with your back to the mausoleum door. You should see a Civil War soldier statue in front of you halfway down the driveway. Abner's grave will be in the first section immediately to the right of the driveway, and his grave will be located between the Civil War statue and the mausoleum. If you walk past the Civil War statue while you are looking, you have gone too far east. Hope this helps.

Out of curiosity, I was looking into pages with no photos in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsdale, MI and found this page with just a first name, no other information. I wondered where you got the information for it. I thought I would try to look into who it is so the page could be better updated since I live here in Hillsdale. Plus, just curious.

|M. Johnson||Peter Dornbush-Doornbos|
Oakwood Muskegon, I see that I have duplicated Peter. I will transfer him to you, so you can adjust as you wish. Oops! MJ
|M. Johnson||Dornbush or Doornbos?|
At Oakwood Cemetery, Muskegon, MI.
I also have photos for Harry 1887-1924, Aggie 1895-1944,and Henry 1880-1934. They are all in 2-24-16, I'm not sure of the spelling of the last name that you would like. If you enter them there and let me know, I'll be happy to add the photos. MJ
|Linda Smith||Minnie E Scott|
While in Kalkaska, MI this weekend, I found a tombstone with the name Minnie E Scott on it with the words 24 years old. This tombstone was among the Eckler and Campbell tonbstones, and I was wondering if it was the same Minnie E Scott that you added.

Thanks for putting the info up for Wayne and Nellie. They are my late great grand parents. My grandma was Mabel Harrison married to Harold Warren. I have much, much info to share if anyone is interested.
