RE: Unity Cemetery
That would be great! I sure hope to go visit Unity up in the woods, somewhere between Knob Creek Cem., and Band mill. I want to photograph the stones, and one of them is Mark Kirk, my 3G gr'mother. Her daughter Luvina Kirk-Toney is in Knob Creek (my 2G). Then her daughter is Mary Toney-Dixon, (my paternal G Gr'mother)who married John F. "Tonkey" Dixon after his wife, Fanny Byler-Dixon passed away. I thank you so much for all your work on this site! I wish I had heard about Pioneer Day a lot sooner, I would have planned my trip sooner. But I'm coming down the week of the 18th and bringing 2 Dixon's that have been working with me on our Dixon History for several years. Can't wait! Thanks again, Joan :)

RE: Unity Cemetery
Ok, thanks. Yes Denny has it on his site, but does not pinpoint the location. When is Pioneer day? Where do they hold it?. I will be coming to Izard county the week of May 18th. Is it anywhere near that time? Thanks :)

Unity Cemetery
Hi Sandy. Was wondering if you have ever been to Unity cemetery? It was located by Denny Elrod between Knob Creek and Band Mill, and placed on his Izard blogspot. I would like to have directions to it if possible. Want to take photos, and see Mary Kirk's headstone. She would be my 3g grandmother. Thanks for anything you can find out. Keep up your great work on this site!

Thanks for adding the obit. When time allows I go one by one looking and comparing the obits for Yell County and what is on Find A Grave. When I find one without their obit. I always send it in hopes that they will add it to Find A Grave.

Thank You
Dropping by to say thanks for all you do! I personally have greatly benefitted from the clear photos you have taken of my ancestors lines. "Thanks" hardly seems like enough. Keep up the good work! :)
