Sharing and helping each other to discover the unknowns about family history with gravesite photos and research.

Angel Babies Memorial Project

Originally started by Jim Murray in New York, I expanded the Angel Babies Memorial Project to Miami. The mission of this project is to discover and record the gravesites of infants & children who died in Miami and link them genealogically to their families. Every memorial serves as a tribute to a youngster who died much too soon. They all deserve to be remembered and honored, and given a sense of dignity and love in death that may have been denied to them in life. By doing so, they will not be forgotten.
Please visit the Angel Babies Memorial Project of New York City and St. Louis, Mo.

My Situation:

Enjoy the wide open spaces of Dona Anna and Sierra County, NM. Born in Heidelberg Germany on a military base. Raised in France,Florida, New York, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania. Lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico since October, 2011.

Clarence (CJ) Webber
Was just curious where you got the information on my father, Clarence Joseph (CJ) Webber buried at Woodlawn Cemetery North in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Was it from the cemetery office or death certificate by any chance?
Thank you for including his grave on the site,
Nancy Webber Harrison

Thanks for adding photo of my Grand Father
Eduardo Cardon Baca in Las Cruces!

Some how all these are linked to my dads obituary. My dad passed away June 2015.

Thanks again!

Martin W. Burrell
Sir. You have the wrong Martin W. Burrell, he has never been married and he was a Gray hound trained in Juarez and was my husband's best friend. He went by the name of Buckey. So please remove your information that is wrong. And I was the one to add all the pictures from that cemetery.

Thank you

Nannie was her fathers second Spouse. I posted Mary birth record on her memorial. Mary mother was Alice Cordelia Gash who died only 7 days after Mary was born. Then her father married to Nannie and Nannie raised the children. But is not Mary Mother.

I just saw the photo of Wanda that you posted on her memorial earlier this year. Thank you for posting it. It is such a wonderful picture of her. I'm going to let her family know just in case they do not have one like it. Did you know Wanda and if not, where did you find this photo? I cannot thank you enough for posting it.

Dennis Herrold, St. Joseph Cemetery
Hi, Paul-

Dennis was my step-father. I was hoping you'd please transfer his Find-a-Grave file to me? I'd like to add some photos eventually and link him to other deceased relatives.

Thank you and regards-

Deb McDonald

Thomas C Jordan's Death Certificate
I am a descendant of Thomas and Ida Jordan. I found their son's grave page that you set up and it said that the info was taken from his Death Certificate. Do you have a copy of it? Could you possibly email it to me? Do you have any other documents for the Jordans or Kerns?
Thank you!

Richard Kiehnel
I made some edits to the memorial and included a short bio. I am an architectural historian and as I study architects from around the country, I try to add something if they are added to Findagrave or locate them and add them. Thanks for having Mr. Kiehnel. As for his death date, even the American Inst. of Architects, of which he was a member, are not sure if it was the 3rd, 4th, or 5th of Nov. They were notified on the fifth but the paper had it as either the 3rd or 4th. I also changed the birth date, as I think you just copied down the date from something else (I do it all the time!)

When I read your bio I see that you are living in my home town! Thanks for the work you are doing on the cemeteries there! There are some interesting small cemeteries there, one I'd be interested in trying to get on the National Register of Historic Places as it was the first, and I believe only, African American cemetery in Las Cruces. Not sure of the name but it is on Findagrave, location is off Madrid Avenue, just down from Loma Heights Elementary, where I went to school in the late 60's early 70's (when it was the round building that was recently torn down).

Anyhow, thanks for having Mr. Kiehnel and for your work in L. C.!
