Tannenberg again
http://www.ordensland.de/Tannenberg/tannenberg.html

This shows a series of photos. Near the bottom are several of the cenotaph stone for Ulrich von Jungingen.

Is the "cemetery" you created at Tannenberg the one I need to use?

Thanks again, Kendall

Tannenberg Memorial - location?
Hello, Russ! I found your memorial for Paul von Hindenburg at the Tannenberg Memorial and would like to create a memorial for at least one other person who is either buried or has a cenotaph there. However, when I check Wikipedia, the location appears to be different, rather in Olsztyn County, in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship of Poland. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tannenberg_Memorial)
I'm not sure whether I need to create a new cemetery for Ulrich von Jungingen, who fell at Tannenberg and who is said to be memorialized on the monument there, whether yours is the one I need.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
Kendall Mellem

Alexander Mitchell Beattie
I have a photo of Medal of Honor winner Alexander Mitchell Beattie but findagrave has determined that no mores photos are needed. But there are no photos of him. Is there a way to add a photo of him?

Thanks,

Mike

Joseph Reed memorial #20308
You have posted a headstone photo for Joseph Reed memorial #20308.

I see that their daughter is on the headstone and I created a memorial for her at #132136741 and requested a photo. If you post your photo on it then you will get credit and I will get a photo. The first photo is the list has the clearest picture of her portion of the stone so that would be a great one to post. Thank you for all that you do for findagrave.

Joseph lamon
He is buried at West Laurel Hill. Someone has a memorial there for him already, and 9 other Lamons.

Randall Parker Cemetery, Davidson Co., TN
Hi Russ, I have managed many of the memorials in Randall Parker Cemetery in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN. I have the coordinates & directions to this cemetery & have tried to find a way to place this on the info for the cemetery. There doesn't seem to a way to do this for this cemetery. I have received many questions about the directions. Would there be a way to add the directions &/or coordinates to the cemetery? Below I'm sending you what I have. Thank you, Marilyn Whittemore Adams

DIRECTIONS TO RANDEL & PARKER (HICKS) CEMETERY, SCOTTSBORO, TN
From Columbia, through Nashville to Scottsboro
N 36 13.320
W 086 54.833
Elev. 466 Ft

To the Cemetery:

On Hydes Ferry Pike turn right by the Lewis Country Store (north on Old Hickory Blvd)

Go just a little ways and look for the Baptist Church on the left

Pass the church and about 300 yards, look to the right to a road by mailboxes and an old concrete bridge

Cross the bridge and keep to the right; you'll see an old metal sign with the name of the cemetery almost embedded into a tree

As soon at you come up to a clearing (just a short distance) you'll see the cemetery on the right; there is an access road through a private home driveway, but you can park in the field and walk up to it.

purchase by ancestry
It seems to me findagrave.com always said they would not sell out.
But have.
This has been a problem for me since ancestry.com bought findagrave.com.
People think I am a relative of some sort to the entries I've posted at findagrave.com.. Which I am not.
And I am not an ancestry.com member.
I have photographed gravestones from about 40 cemeteries and posted to findagrave.com so people can find their relatives/ancestors.
Now that ancestry has taken over findagrave I won't be doing this anymore.
The new way to add info to findagrave entries is very handy but all sorts of people send along that info and when I click on Accept to allow it to be added, the person that provided it is not mentioned. It looks like I provided that info.
This is going to be a big mess! :-)
